@kshitijsharma with due respect to the college process but I feel that most of the top B schools shares the data of illustrious alumni on the website with the aspirants........
Atul, point taken... We are coming up with a new website which shall contain data about the alumni (being new, we may be a lil short of CXOs yet, though we have at least 8-10 entrepreneurs already).
That portal which we are talking about is still internal.. Please tell us what kind of information you would like to have on the upcoming website (slated to be up within a week)?

I feel that this college is very fast growing college so it should keep all the information handy for the use of aspirants as well as recruiters like various opportunity provided to the students, collaborations with different universities, various courses offered along with new courses to be introduced, future plans of college, alumni data etc. along with regular update of the site.......... sorry for comparison but for the guidance i feel that XLRI can be a good example as it has recently updated their site..........

True.. The college website is the most important and official source of info for everyone. This is the reason why we are coming up with a new version of our website which will not only look new, but will have better features in terms of updates etc as well.. Am pretty sure the new team of Admissions & IT along with the other committees will do justice to all your expectations..

We sure will be there on PG bcoz we love it and especially this forum. It's a small way to give back to the great institute by helping the students out who would be taking a giant decision like we did. So to all the puys thinking by any means of SIBM B, keep the questions/views coming! :)
Some info on the infrastructure for the benefit of all: Hostel is new (as the institute) .. So almost everything works... 1. 2 kinds of rooms- double sharing and triple sharing(allotment randomly done) 2. Hot water comes into all the rooms through solar panels installed in the hostel. 3. Fridge, washing machines etc not available. 4. Laundry guys come twice a week to the hostel. 3. There is a separate area in the basement for ironing your clothes, keeping iron etc in your own rooms not allowed because of safety reasons. 4. In the rooms you get a table, chair, book shelf, mattress, pillow,wooden almirah, two mirrors, ropes for hanging clothes, a basin, one toilet, one bathroom+ a bottle for drinking water. 5. Each floor has a machine installed where you get hot,cold and normal water. Such machines are there in the mess and in all the floors in the academic block as well. 6. There is a medical room with a doctor available alongwith almost all basic medicines. 7. There is a vehicle for emergency purposes 8. Apart from these, we have a fully equipped gym, a badminton court, TT table, foosball table, basketball-cum-cricket-cum-soccer court/field, volleyball court etc.. I think that pretty much covered it.. 😛
My college had cgpa system and a cgpa to percentage conversion chart. I scored 7.6 which is equivalent to 80% . At the time of gdpi, the document checker didnt not consider it as 80% and changed it to 76%. I just wanted to knw if my percentage wud be considered as 76 or 80?
@LoveLife14 It would be considered as what was entered during the doc verification process (76%). The question is, why did you not tell this to them, then?
