@fisherking @Estallar12 @Ibanez @hanushanand Yaar ek doubt clear karo.. Wo jo formula hai naa
(P)^2/ 48, P = even
(P+3)^2/ 48 , P = odd
Usme kounsa wala integer function lagta hai ?
Say, P = 30 , then what will be the answer ?
yeh formula maine pehle dekha nahi kabhi
@YouMadFellow P=30 and P=27 have the same answer ie 19. Both questions came up in the first addl QADI sectional. Since I was going via the lengthy beggar's method and case elimination route, I could only do one. :/ And TIME ne to table bana ke kiya hai solution mein, no fancy formulae at all.
@RoadKill Yah, Even the formula gives the same expression i.e. 900/48.. ab bas yeh dekhna hai .. ki greatest or least integer function lagega ..

Uss test ki yaad mat dilaao.Ganda tha woh test plus interface ne mujhe sirf 45 minutes diye 70 ki jagah

Yeh formula kaunsa hai pehle yeh toh bata do Sir. :-/
@RoadKill Ok, independent research reveals that it should be rounded off to the nearest integer. In this case, 900/48 = 18.75 => 19 ..
@fisherking Hmm mere ek VA sectional mein same hua tha... :(

N = 7777………………7777, where the digit 7 repeats itself 429 times. What is the remainder left when N is divided by 1144?
(a) 913
(b) 1129
(c) 777
(d) None of these

Help
@Estallar12 For a perimeter P, how many distinct triangles possible with integer sides.

(P)^2 / 48, if P = even
(P+3)^2 / 48 , if P = odd rounded off to nearest integer.
@Estallar12 Perimeter diya ho to kitne triangle bana sakte ho with integer sides... Uska faarmula.
@RoadKill Woh naye waale sectional 2 main woh jo Rhodes waal question tha RC main uska kuch bhi answer diya hain TIME waalo ne.Kaha hain politics has prevented use of nuclear energy due to radioactive waste from coal jabki in the passage this was an example of poltiical imbalance towards nuclear energy instead of being the cause of political policy.Kuch bhi solution deke rakha hain TIME waalo ne

1129?
Can you post the approach? Answer given as 777
@ad18

1144 = 8*13*11

N mod 8 = 1
N mod 13 = 10
N mod 11 = 7 (triplets of 777)

8a+ 1 = 13k + 10 = 11m + 7

=> 777 ...

Wait ans shuold be 777. I made a mistake
@Estallar12
@YouMadFellow
@Ibanez

Sir thoda confusion hai,

1144= 11 x 13 x 8

But, 777777 is divisible by 7 x 11 x 13 = 1001, agar 777777 ko 1144 se divide karte hain to remainder aata hai.
@YouMadFellow 13 se remainder direct division se dekha kya? 777777 is div by 13 dekh ke? Main isey leke atka tha.
