My question is to all the intellectuals. 1. Why was the concept of sectional timing introduced? 2. If there is sectional timing then why not sectional cutoff this time? Please speak out
Mujhe to ae agitation ka matlab hi nahi samaj raha. Log apne selection ko leke ladte hae. Idhar to dusre ke selection ko rakne ke lie ladhai ho raha hae. Aur kuch nahi bas joining thoda piche ho jaega. Dusri baat har saal kuch na kuch reasons se candidates na kush rahte hae. Har saal ka natak hae. Kuch nahi hota. Haan agar ae demand hota ki waiting list likale aur jinte seats inhone bola tha fill kare. Aur jo log selection ke bhi joining nahi karenge.unka seat waste nahi jae. I believe min 500 candidates ka career ban jaega. Agitation ho raha hae par galat direction pe ho raha hae
Those who started comparing CAT with SBI PO Mains, A Big LOL for you. A person scoring below 85%ile in any section is rejected from Top IIMs. Whereas SBI PO has made a joke out of DI section. Real test is how much you score in a changed pattern brothers if you are that good. Don't take it personally but this is truth. Almost 80% of the selected candidate would have decent score in DI and hands down to your performance. You really rock and deserved to be an SBI PO without any doubt.But we have the problems with the other 20% who failed to get even 3 marks in 45 mins. DS was much more solvable and had a weightage of 2 marks each. "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere".

Edit: I scored in double digits in the DI section. If I wouldn't had, I might probably won't make it to GEPI. (I had 18 marks above the objective cutoff) The efforts we put in and the result thereafter was intolerable and you also know that. We sacrificed RRB PO for SBI PO interviews and now this 0 DI marks selection is heart breaking. I missed by 0.39 in final cutoff and had 28/50 in GDPI. I am not even crying for that. Sectional cutoff, even if it was 0, should have been revealed in the score card.
Cut off was 0/scarpped for all...everyone had equal chances to qualify...it is unfair to question the candidature of a selected candidate just bcz he cleared the final cut off with 0 in d.i..it is not that he knew it way before the mains exam that cut off is going to be scrapped/zero...he took the exam with us,he cleared the cut off getting more marks than most of us in other sections...he was at no advantage...don claim that u cudve cleared cut off by concentrating on other sections leaving out d.i..none knew it before yesterday that cut off was 0/scrapped.
ok let us assume that they give sectional cut off now question arises is that all candidates who are claiming that they scored good marks in every section will be still able to clear overall cutoff ? answer is no so stop wasting your time and g3ar up for other exams and stop blaming interviewers every interviewer is provided with a list of topic to judge .. just by giving answer u cant get 20/30 or even 10 they judge some specific points which they never reveal ....so just chill think hang out and start preparing for other exams and there are guys who made 5 to 6 ids and distracting other ones always remember weakest person of this world blame others... abusive comments don't harm me so comment and waste yout energy 🙂 and some of guys who were sitting near gd takers will agree with me because i myself saw a list with some qualities they had 😉
Think about this scenario...wat if sbi introduces the sectional cut off..and doesnt change the final cut off!
Dont tell that sbi will loose 500 candidates..so it will not do it.!
The candidates are required to qualify in each of the Tests by securing passing marks, to be decided by the Bank. (mentioned in the notification). The final decision rests with the bank in this regard. If they decided not have sectional cutoff this time there is nothing anyone of us can do about it. The only thing that can be challenged (that too a big maybe) is if some candidates are given zero instead of -ve.

Bhai mera selection nhi ho paya. Pr m sbko yhi khna chahta hu ki jo kmi rh gyi usko pura kro. Na ki system me kmi nikalo. DI hi agr imp h to remaining subjects ka test hi mt lo phirto. Agr DI me apke 17 aye aur ap overall clear nhi kr paye to ap jada deserving nhi hue. Apke hi logic se hr section utha hi imp h to remaining section me ap deserving nhi hue. Apne ap ko sudharo or jinka selection hua h unse achi bat sikh k jao. Baki apni smjh h apki.
how much time it takes for we to get the offer letter and a rough idea of joining date?

I have colour blindness. Will it create any problem during medical test?
Seriously can not understand why some of you guys are so furious regarding SBI PO Result. You may blame me as I cleared sbi po this time and will alledge that I am saying all this to defend us. But I want to ask you some pertinent questions,
1. Guys the question was same for all of us. Same day, same shift, same sectional timing. And evaluation procedure was same for all of us, i.e. no sectional cut off this time. I mean difficulty level was same for all of us. And you can not give this logic that your chances were hampered due to no sectional cut off as sectional timing was their. You could have scored well in other areas so that you can surpass the overall cut off.
2. SBI is not bound to disclose the sectional cut off or final cut off or anything. Its their prerogative only. They could have only informed the status instead of publishing marksheet.
3. Think about that guy who scored 0 in DI but marvellously cleared the overall cut off. You also had the same chance. But you couldn't. You are saying you guys were better than him in DI. Same logic applies for other subject where you were not upto the marks. And the marks 0 is probably 2-3 people max
4. Mere giving all the answer correctly in interview does not mean you will get good marks in GD PI. Some of you were claiming about malpractices. It was a 5 member bench man, constituted democratically from different circles and they also award marks individually and later makes an average. and as far as I saw they gave such good marks in few instances only where they felt so.
5. Do you guys cry this much when in some exams they post the roll numbers of successful candidates or just shows the status?
Just think about it. It will be better if you accept your drawbacks and prepare for the upcoming exams with more zeal and passion. I am sure you will do great.

Puys! I cleared SBI PO and hence decided not to give upcoming RRB PO MAINS.. I have colour blindness and 2 teeth removed..Am I taking risk ? (Considering sectional cut off issue also)..please share your opinion..Preparing for CGL Tier2 now..
People here think they are the better judge of interview marks awarded to X or Y. I really dont understand based on what they are saying this? Some are saying I got this much in English/Descriptive, How could they award me such marks. If English/Descriptive was the criteria they could have extrapolated the interview marks based on them and avoid this janjhat of conducting the inteviews!
I just spoke to HR of Amaravati circle ..He said communication will come to you regarding date of medical test and they haven't received any date from corporate centre.Regarding colour blindness he says, doctor will decide on that day according to his guidelines..
Mahino wait kiye h SBI ke liye, 2-3 din toh aur de hi skte h. By the way, aap log yeh batayein ki aap logon ko kya problem h agar ek RTI sectional cutoffs reveal kr deti h. Agar 0 hota h toh aapke liye hi accha hoga na. Naahi aapka samarthan chahiye nahi gaaliyan. This is our method and we will keep walking on this.
Main Mahindra me hi baitha hu. Ek ka SBI PO 2016 Mains me OA se kaafi zyada tha but ek sectional nhi niklne k karan rejected. Agar Notification same hai, toh aap logo ki kyu jal rhi hai bhai log.
I am just saying 0 marks in DI is pinching to our eyes and many of them who were rejected in past. SBI ne manmani ki toh ki, but little intervention by any organization should not at all bother you.
