I am sure SBI would have taken into account the backlash from some candidates for removing the sectional cut-off. Before coming to this decision, they would have discussed and consulted the legal validity of this decision with the top leadership and even their legal team. And they will be expecting to be challenged legally in court.
Anyone here has any idea about the pgdbf courses from manipal? If u know anyone who has done it and have some info that u can share, that would be great. TIA.
To All those people who are blaming SBI for removing sectional cut off. It seems They might have had no other choice but to do so. It seems they avoided sectional cut off this year because if they set even 2 mark or 1 mark cut off for DI they would not have had 6000 students qualifying for the interview. Such was the difficulty level of DI. Accept this fact. Yes I know many scored 10 marks and I saw some guy scoring 17.5 also in DI. I understand their frustrations. But Y complain about DI only? What about other sections, descriptive, GDPI? THEY HAVEN'T FAILED ANYONE purely ON THE BASIS OF DI marks. What matters in the end is the final total aggregate marks not just DI. So Keep calm and move on. Look ahead to the next exam.

Saare sarkari exams se gd and pi hata dena chahiye... It involves a lot of human discretion.. and greater chances of error.. in gd where 10 people are speaking simultaneously.. marking mistakes will happen.. in pi different questions are asked to different candidates..so how can judgement be fair.
I don't think you understand the concept of competition and cutoff. Fine, 5 marks aur aate to IN hota, 10 marks aur aate to IN hota. Agar 100 logon ka aise aise badhta to phir bhi wo ekdum border par hote plus cutoff 2 number cutoff badh bhi jata. I myself have been failing for last 3 years. 2014 me 1st attempt me main probability ke bharose gaya tha but maths me aaya hi nahi wo. Maths me sectional me 3 marks se chhut gaya.Roya mai bhi tha. Yahan sab fail kar kar ke hi pahucha hai. If only I had kept complaining all those times we were rejected at Pre/Mains/Interview, trust me aaj bhi uss paar tumlog ke saath randirona kar hi raha hota abhi. 😂
Don't you all think...prelims and then mains consisting of 4 different sections and a descriptive test which tests your expression is enough.till this point there is machine which is going to test.. so things are fair.
Intellectuals please comment. In the last line it has been mentioned that descriptive has been checked of only those candidates who have passed individually in all the sections. Now how did they find if a person has passed in a section or failed in it without determining the sectional cutoff. This is the biggest mistake that sbi has committed.Poor fellows...

Guys difficulty wise how is RBI assistant in comparison to SBI PO . I graduated this year only and missed final cutoff of SBI PO by approx 4 marks . What are my chances for RBI assistant ?
Its funny how some of us cant come to terms with reality. If someone is selected and you arent that is no proof that there is corruption, they are better than you at this particular exam. Thats it. I dont see anyone giving or taking bribe. Do not make the mistake of crying wolf when there is none, victim mentality will get you nowhere. Dont waste your time in protest, u r just wasting ur time, pull up you sleeves and start preparing for next year/rbi asst/ibps

Yaar SBI atleast 01 mark cut off rakh hi sakta tha sab sections ka.. why they scarapped it fully? i mean what is their logic to have no sectional cut offs. if they put 01 mark cut off for each section. i think overal cut off 2-3 mark niche jata like for Gen 47-48. aisa karte toh sab khush rehte. Ja phir aisa hai ke 0 vale bahut sare select huye hai? 😂
ADVISORY: SBI me ho hi gaya hai, ye soch kr upcoming pending mains nhi dene ki sochne waalo... rethink ur priorities! exams de dena, kaam hi aayega. Qki ab toh jo bhi jahan tk ban padega, hmlog bhi karenge ! aise kaise jaane denge mehnat bc. Aur haan, hamari padhai likhai ki chinta chhod kar abhi filhaal D.I banaao 😂 😂 😂
