@texas921 yeah, I heard the same thing from bokaro ppl, that colour blindness is the only criteria for rejection in eye check up, and that high power isn't a problem. Fingers crossed. Good luck.

this is a request to all the people who are having a medical from 25th to 28th feb, as soon as u receive official notification either at e-mail or letter at home from SAIL, plz do share the info. regarding the no. of days to stay for medical at BOKARO or IISCO and what is is the official date and place of their joining after medical. Is there any gap between date of medical and date of joining. Please do kindly share this info. as we all need to get reserved the railway tickets for both arrival and departure as soon we get to know the date of joining.
the very next day when every-bodies medical will be over, we can join..i mean it will around 5 march

Guessing your posting will be like... well just guessing.You see its pointless.Just wait for another couple of days and you will have this sorted out.Asper girls we had heard that they will be posted at their nearest units.But then we also heard that departmental candidate will be posted at their parent dept. That din't happen.So be patient.
