@deepali.patna have you talked to any person from sail about it.Do you have any idea when they will give us permanent location.
I'll tell you how the general process works.recruitment has been done for 5 integrated steel plants and other special steel plants of sail.Now all the candidate have been given reporting at two places.People who have got reporting at BOKARO are most likely to be posted at BHILAI,BOKARO or RSP.People who have been given reporting at burnpur will be joining at the other units(most probably) like ASP,DSP,IISCO,VISL,SALEM etc.
Now there are some exceptions aswell as SAIL policies aree bent according to convinience from time to time.but like I said these are rare exceptions.So if anyone who seek transfer from their probable place of joining can talk and sort out the matter here on this forum so that we can line up the process of transfer soon after joining.
Mine is at IISCO and I desperately need RSP.So proposals are wellcome.

The joining letters are on their way to your adress.there would be deatails of the posting.And dont worry It'll be a short while from report to join.

Correspondence Address is for Correspondence only so should on that Address only. :)
can anyone suggest me the phone number/email id where i can ask about extension date.because my current organisation is not ready to leave me before notice period.
Can reporting date be extended? I have had an accident a week back and have some serious injuries. Will they consider such a request?
@hi_guys thanks for ur reply..i am doing m.tech from iit roorkee..and i not want to loose iitian tag..please tell me procedure of extension..if you know .. and also to whom i should contact i am in roorkee can i talk to sail office in delhi.or i have to go to bokaro (my reporting place ).plzz do reply.

My suggestion would be to wait for the joining letter to come.And there you'll be able to find the appropriate and competent authority you can talk to for stuff like that.
@slendereyes hie i hv few queries..does M.Tech degree hs ny effect on promotion..as m doin my M.Tech frm NIT warangal and in last semester bt reporting date is before my completion of degree... if i take extension thn i'll b junior to my batch and if i join SAIL nw thn i hv 2 convert my regular M.Tech degree into part time also currently m carrying out my internship at national aerospace laboratories...so please suggst me is it good to take extension or to join sail ryt nw..

Have a query. Is high myopic power a reason for being medically unfit. I heard that at SAIL, they give importance to only Colour Blindness. Please clarify if you've some input.
