@chiraxjr said: @hungriest_tiger: best of luck for the interview! its not that easy! i messed LR last time so i m very afraid this time, want to become guv badly!i think finmin, planning commision exim and other reports lot of stuff, its good to read! though you must be already reading those but if not pass me your email i will forward you the doc!and one more thing always take an interview from both side, that is you and the rbi are interviewing each other, though that is hardly the case! but have that in your mindset, will help you a lot!
You do not need a CFA to clear RBI gr'B' exam. The exam is mostly basic in nature and a thorough reading of a few books would help you make the cut. In addition, if you are looking for a job in Research as I infer from your last few posts, then it would be a better bet to get an MA Eco maybe from DSE and then apply for the DEPR post advertised by RBI. Gr'B' would be more on the general side, and it would take a few years to get major recognition. Not to say that it is not for the academically inclined, but DEPR seems to be wht you might be looking for based on your posts. You could run the risk of getting a bit frustrated in Gr B, as most of the jobs here would not make use of your high qualifications atleast not initially....ATB
