I m using RS aggarwal for Quants. Is it enough? or should i refer to other books as well. can u pls help me wit the list of books essential for RBI grade B exam.

any advice for the starting off with round-1?????? cat material/ lr books/ or some exam papers???? and also im planing to take up mock cat for the 1st round, do you think its okay! actually i have time only for rbi so do guide me!
and where could i get all the papers of past rbi officers exams?????
and any more inputs on round-2????sundaram for eco, what about finance and management!

you need a mix-of-all sort of strategy as this paper is mix of PO and CAT, eng and gk of PO and DI/LR of CAT (in stage 1)...this yr LR puzzles were tough! I think in Pratyogita Drapan u may hv the papers! frst focus on R1, btw R2 was tougher than last yr...spl Fin. and Man paper, qs in Economics gets repeated.

i get what you said! well english and gk will be taken care by ET, pratiyogita darpan, etc etc for DI/LR i will take mock cat test, what say?

yeahh.u r correct.
for R2 i think thr is no dedicated resource in the market.Instead take syllabus and do googling topicwise. Take 6-7 terms/topics in a day, but read in depth spl topics like sensex stock market etc. many topics are repeated every year, so keep a tab on prev. papers as well.
Similarly u can do 4 eco too....read 4-5 articles and prepare ur own notes instead of Sundaram etc.

if u dont hv a bg in finance then you may nt undersyand some topics...make use of sites like investopedia, moneycontrol etc.

Looks like a lot of repeat queries here...Would suggest referring back a few pages, since you would find...not surprisingly...that most of the queries have been done to death. In addition, most of the earlier answers were based on substantial research and experience. If the previous answers do not take care of ur quest for knowledge, feel free to post. Sorry for the late reply. I began studying for phase 1 after seeing the list of eligible candidates on the RBI website...but that's just LAZY ME...
Would suggest a serious prep of about a month or so. Read ET, and prepare specific GK reg Govt projects and schemes.
