Called up RBI Services Board today, they said interviews will begin in last week of September from Chennai and then Kolkata(first or second week of october) will follow. Letters indicating exact dates will be sent soon. Best of Luck to all...keep the hard work going!!

Hi !! me too in the same boat...just giving it a shot ..I got hold of a prvious paper and the distribution of marks really did me in..Gk for 80 marks!!! ..that too some pure economics..having an engg background,then a software engg by profession..i do really stand a low chance..anyways...can u pls give me the complete book name ...I am appearing for a banking exam for the first time in my life...so hav no idea about it...

The level of GK questions is higher than any other MBA/Bank examination. You may read (rather study) Civil Services Chronicle and Economy (by Dhankar Publications) issues of all the 12 months before the test. I believe that would suffice the requirement for GK Section (and would also help you in Economy and Social Issues paper for Phase II). For the final touch you may study Annual Special Economy Edition by Pratiyogita Darpan (MCQs at the end of this book are really helpful).

Thanks Buddy...I am from Nagpur...So I guess my Interview will be at Mumbai...But dont have any Idea when it is going to happen....Where are you from and do you have any idea Regarding Probable dates in mumbai????

First give your best for Phase 1....you will get enough time for phase 2.......For phase 1...Just normal P.O.level preparation with equal emphasis on each section....and make atleat 2 section very perfect for clearing overall cut offs...Because it is easy to clear sectional cut offs but overall cut offs are slightly higher...So you better be prepared for that.....All the best for exams.....

i need urgent help ---

i m working as po in sbi and posted in one of cities of gujarat and in december,my 1 month training schedule for sbi hyderabad institutes came and 18th dec was falling in between so i filled hyderabad as examination centre and post the application but by bad luck, after 7 days my training schedule for the whole quarter (oct-dec) has cancelled and now i am upset how can i change my exam centre from hyderabad to ahmedabad.....i know that it is written clearly in advertisement that "request for change of address will not be entertained" but my case is genuine one and i have all letters to support my request for change of application...

plz tell me what shud i do in this case ??

i have searched the contact no and email id of "reserve bank of india services board" but cud not find any....so plz help me and tell me contact nos and mail id where i can call and send mail.....

and plz reply as soon as possible..

If u had not sent printout to RBI office then do new registration & give different email id because they may take email id field to check duplications. If u had already sent it then also u can try to register by taking new DD. But before doing this u can call at RBI & ask for the same.
