there is a lot of fuss about this medical exam, and its making me nervous.
can you just get a health test package type of stuff from fortis, dr lal path lab or something? or does it have to be from a Govt hospital specified by the RBI.
@96321 thanks for clarifying, my thoughts are the same. im actually expecting it to be till 5.I remember once i was passing by the RBI office around 5 PM and there were a lot of people coming out.

@preett 100000000000001%%%%%%%% true.....all banks are always open for us even after retirement but not RBI. One life time decision
Agar PO ka job mil jata to kyun koi assistant post ke liye apply karta.A manager is a manager and assistant is assistant.But the point is assistant in rbi is far better than any organisation.One thinks of better oppurtunity.Aur ek jaruri baat go to sbi branch u will find clerks so busy doing lot of work on the other hand manager is just sitting in his/her cabin.One cant say manager works more than clerk.PO is a management trainee thus has to work hard within period of probation but then he has less work afterwords.If someone is unhappy with his posting and unhappy to so much extent that he can sacrifice the job(and cant resist for 2 years),Then it is better to sacrifice it for job as rbi assistant.Jiske paas job hi nahi hai usko PO better ya RBI ASSIST. better ye sochane kya jarurat hai?

my intrview was over by 5 PM and and i also winessed many people coming out (at mumbai) there may be different timings for different people...

how long would be the training?wil it be in bangalore itself(im frm blr zone)?
will we be transferred to other zones too?
Simple si baat hai Darr k aage jeet hai. Log abhi se RBI promotion se darr rahe hai.

@abhiabhiabhi very true...sme people want to desperatly force others into po job and questioning whether they are actually wrking as managers....strange...yes people know their own truths so let them make their own statements
hi can some1 tell me more about these exam & when is the this exam by RBI ? next expected n what is the eligibility criteria
about timings i doubt that it will be 10:30 to 7
because at the time of interview many people were starting to come for their work around 9
i think most probably 9:30 to 5:30 or 6 (as i have been told that most public sector working hours are 8 hrs)
assistant in css gets total salary per month around 35000 rs. better posting better chances for promotion....
