I m frm mumbai.. had called rbi on thursday and they said letter will b dispatched soon..and joining will b in nov.mostly mumbai guys will get letter by next weekend..

I m working as an SWO in United Bank of India....cleared RBI Assistant exam from Kolkata
Medical tests during joining included the following tests
Blood Test--fasting,PP,lipid profile
Chest PA(X RAY)
ECG
Eye Test
Weight & Height mesurement
Blood Pressure
Urine analysis
Stool(EWW!) Analysis & one or two other tests
Done in the AMRI Hospitals Kolkata......Total process took over 4 hours
Even the technicians & lab assistants were asking why so many tests were necessary !!

2 days later,bank arranged a visit of the official doctor....They had the reports....Doc asked about past medical history,parents medical history,identification marks etc....hardly looked in the reports & okayed!!!!
Same thing is going to happen I think!!!

The doctor only asked about past reports like was there any serious illness....same for parents..didn't ask for any supporting documents

@96321 Yeah...surprisingly so....it didn't make sense but it was exactly what the doctor did..he just asked!!!I can't really explain why.
There was no rejection though.....
