anyone personally knows any assistant who works in rbi? then please ask him about the total in hand salary per month. cause if it will be in the range of 18k to 18k then there would be very less difference with commercial banks and not at all par with central government upper division clerks who get around 21k in hand. RBI is the countries central bank and it should pay more than 20 at least.

DEAR ALL wat is the inhand salary of assistant.BUT I THINK ONLY A WORKING GUY CAN HELP.this is very important because if inhand salary is 17-18k then it is just 4-5k more than a commercial bank clerk .
better be informed .

yes, only inside information is reliable. everyone says they called rbi and were given different answers.
please search for something like this on facebook, either the employee union or some public rbi page. please post to them and ask for some concrete information.
@karthideepa Please don't misinterpret my post....It was amusing that recruiting class III staffs in RBI will require procedures like Governor's sign...the CGM of HRMD has enough authority to do this I believe unless this is a policy.

I'd been through with Bank of India's selection process earlier this year.
I got my name listed in the finally selecteed candidates as it shows in RBI's final list.
I was waiting for my offer letter as I'm waiting now.
Then after 2 months a letter of rejection came. They found me NOT ELIGIBLE because my passing dates were later than those stipulated in the advertise.
My friends told me to file a case like a few guys have done. I didn't because I ignored a simple fact mentioned in the advertisement.
I guess on similar lines, people should first check before applying for a job for a particular region. And if they have any issues with the selection procedure then such issues should be highlighted as soon as the advertisement is out.
I think Waiting for the written exam's result and then going to the court is not called for.
@lay_man last year......I was interviewed in December for Mktg Officer. I still have the rejection letter.

But, to be very true it was your fault... 😐
It is written every where in Advertisement, in Interview letter that if at any stage Bank learn to about that candidate is not eligible for post then his/her candidature is liable to be rejected...

(i guess gross will be 25-27 grands per month) 
also 19300 is gross leaving housing rent...if someone doesnt take accomodation, how much extra will he get n what will be the amount in addition to 19300 as prerequisites (see the advt ).
