Have patience........if one has cleared rbi exam he/she shall get appointment letter too......but some formalities should be compleated

Bharatmvaru I believe the point here is, for assistant level jobs, inhouse candidates are preferred because they tend to apply rarely for the accomodation. Another thing is, the procedure will become clumsy because not all the areas will receive enough number of applications. Areas like Mumbai, Delhi, etc. will get applications from all over the country.
So, If 10,000,00 had appeared for all the posts, I believe the proportion of positions available per state and candidates applying for that state won't be equal for all states. Because out of those 10L people appearing, more that 60% applicants would apply for metro cities. And if this happens then cut-off marks in these states will shoot up however for other states, the cut-off marks will be too low.

i have called that no. letter despatched by this month end. However, not sure of date of joining

Hello guys, saw this post in a facebook group for selected Assistant candidates
"Hi all..Congratulations..regarding offer of appointment I received a mail from RBI employee association, hyderabad stating that the letters will probably be issued after 23rd oct and the appointment letters will be issued after 19th nov after completion of pre recruitment medical and other formalities, the actual appointment is likely to be from 26th nov onwards and be completed by the end of december all over india as per their information. BTW any one selected to hyd office here?..:) "
