THOSE SHOUTING CANCELLATION on basis of rejection in biometric round, read this with ALL your brains (if there is a shortage, use your neighbours' ). https://indiankanoon.org/doc/68113656/ .............................. HERE, you have been given 100+ chances to make your thumb impression match with the one captured by the machine during mains examination and also your signatures have been taken for matching. And it is AFTER all this has FAILED you have been rejected, one of my friend unfortunately got out in this manner. I don't discourage you in filing a case , we have a right to legal remedy, but since we have a legal precedent here, it doesn't makes sense. NOTE: If you say that your Preliminary exam thumb impression (which were taken on a paper by ink) should be matched then you are wrong, because the qualifying exam here is Mains exam, for which there are 1 concrete(machine biometrics) and 2 complementary objects(CCTV & Signature), and I don't know about the CCTV part , will post a link if I find a case in which CCTVs were considered..... . ....................................................................................................................... But for those Selected Candidates, no need to fear , THIS IS NOT A REASON FOR SELECTED ONES TO BE AFRAID OF CANCELLATION, since there already exists a similar judgement, feel free to read it. I know it feels sad to get rejected due to biometric when we know that we ourselves gave the exam. But from the previous judgement it seems that it is the dark side of technology and even the court cannot do anything if the machine says no, and the forensic experts have given a red signal in signature matching. Sadly it is the truth. I feel sad for one of my friend who got rejected.
Guys to those who rejected based on bv.
U people can file an RTI for asking the reasons of rejections. It's waste of time to go court. If u find u rejected based on bv even if your bv matched in RTI then u can go to court.
The thing is that if the litigants lose the case, RBI can file a case of Impersonation against them and before that they will be barred from any RBI exams(without any case).
BUt don't worry guys just file an RTI n get the reasons. All the best.
