is your answer 6.1 hrs?
Isnt the Qn asking "At which of the following SPEEDs time taken will be least?"
yaar is hisaab se to option me least value 5 thi.. woh hi honi chaaahiye!!!
@Rshmi05 it will be great if you share their solution, you can just take a pic of that page and share with us (if you dont want to write much)
@BIPIN_RANA bhai if I am not wrong then this can be solved with 'bayes theorem'.

@abhinavsing3103 : They haven't explained the solution........jus gave the answer
@Rshmi05 an you tell me the section and the question no of this ques?
@abhinavsing3103 Time & Distance QNO.23(LOD-3)

Q-17 and 20 in LOD1..time and work...anyone,actually i did half way but after that no able to do those questions,anyone who could help??

TIA :)

@gudda1122 :
Q-17)Raju can do a piece of work in 10 days,Vicky in 12 days and Tinku in 15 days.They all start work together,but Raju leaves after 2 days and vicky leaves 3 days before the work is completed.In how many days the work is completed?
My approach: Raju does 10% work,Vicky does 8.33% work and Tinku does 6.66% work.Total work done by them in 1 day approx 25%,so in 4 days they can complete 100%.....

except this i didn't convert the rest of the statements into equivalent mathematical logic...
@gudda1122
Other question:An engineer undertakes a project to build a road 15 km long in 300 days and employs 45 men for the purpose.After 100 days he finds only 2.5km of the road has been completed.Find the apprx no. of extra men he must employ so that work finishes in time.

My Answer 4 :)
Let the number of units of work = 1800
so in one day R does = 180 units
Vicky = 150
Tinku = 120
Raju works for 2 days so total amount of work he does = 360
Similarly for vikcy = 150
tinku = 120
Let the entire work be completed in x days so vicky works for x-3 days
so 360+150(x-3)+120x = 1800
solving x = 7
so Vicky works for 7-3 = 4

Ramesh's height is given in terms of H and defined by the following relation as H=3x+4y^2+5z^3. If x increases by 72.8%, y^4/3 increases by 44% and z^2 increases by 44% then by what percentage does height of Ramesh increases?

a. 20% b.44% c.72.8% d.None of these.

sorry for late reply

1st by my logic
R=10 days
V=12 days
T=15 days
let total work be 60 units

so in 1st 2 days they did=30 units work
V leaves 3 days before the work was going to be completed which means at the time he left 12 units were remaining bcoz T will finish that in 3 days

so they did 18 units of work
in 2 days
hence 7 days answer

now according to your way=
50% work was completed in 1st 2 days
now T would have done 20% work in 3 days (appox)
remaining is 30% work which can be completed in 2 days
hence total 7 days

67/68 appox
45*100=(1/6)W
(45+n)*200=5/6W
equate it and solve it you will get your answer
@gudda1122 :one thing i just wanted to know,why u assumed 60 units,any specific reason...i mean when ur assuming,u could have assumed some other value as well.....
