Guys how much will online class for 1st one or two (or maybe more depending on the situation) affect the MBA at XL NCR? Please state your opinions
How long is FMS going to keep affidavit students (freshers) on tender hooks with a star mark against their names in each updated admission list? Conduct of final graduation examination by concerned university/clg will take time, nothing can be predicted how Covid will take its toll. I as affidavit student don't feel comfortable about my admission status in absence of acceptance of fee by FMS and am certain my fellow convertee candidates would be feeling d same. FMS should accept our fee n include us in proper list of admitted students and simply cancel and throw out any candidate if found having indulged in any kind of fraudulent documentation/practice at later stage post conduct of graduation final semester/year exams.....as such we by virtue of having submitted notarized affidavit have committed to law of d land ...for FMS to take any punitive action as situation demands. Delay in conduct of our final exam and accordingly inability to furnish PDC or degree is beyond our control. Views requested on how to proceed in d issue if in agreement.
Can someone share the fees structure for XLRI Delhi
Can someone please tell, how to withdraw from XLRI - Delhi admission and what will be the cancellation fee from the 5lakh 4thousand that they have taken. They just said that it will be as per AICTE.
If no-one takes up my seat, will I not get any refund?
Please help...
Hello everyone, I am a Chartered Accountant. I have taken admission at IIM Rohtak for the PGP 2020-22 and it will be a month now since our classes have started.
Got a mail today from XLRI for admission in the Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management 2020-22 (Delhi-NCR Campus). Really confused as to what I should do? Please share your opinion.
Thanks in advance.
I see so many posts here, which *I feel* are manipulative in nature, I thought of having an open discussion wrt XL Jhajjar. You are free to agree/disagree, but in the end, the purpose of my post is just to make you think. You should ask questions. Ok so here we go. 1. What assurances do you have from the college? This is a two fold question. The first one being, apart from a promise for joint SIPs from the authorities, what do you have? Whenever you are about to join an institute that can potentially change your life, a fair amount of gamble is acceptable. But how far out are you ready to gamble? A significant lot of you are going to take loans. Many people will say that a merit of a B school does not lie in its placement figures. I agree, but that argument belittles your precarious position financially after your degree. Placements do matter. What past evidence can you rely on to judge how the placements are going to be? Focusing out of placements, what is the b school culture and life going to be? What do you possibly know about it? 2. B- schools are largely student driven. But have you noticed a single XL student commenting on how things are going to be at the new campus and what measures are in place to ensure that it is an extension of the present Jamshedpur campus? The answer my friend is that you'll be met with an eerie silence. Nothing is certain. They have had no idea that the authorities would declare such things.. This brings me to another important issue - If students, placecom, clubs can't facilitate your on board process, and are simply reluctant to do so, on what basis are you even considering to be recognized as a school of repute? 3. If you scroll down and see earlier posts, where students pen down their calls with the director, you will find most decisions are to be taken after you are already there. What guarantee do you have for anything? Who is going to assure you that you too are a part of XL? 4. What about the brand? Shouldn't the brand value help me in the long run? By this logic, all IIMs should be treated with equal respect. My dear friends, it doesn't matter if you are from an IIM, people will ask you, which IIM. It doesn't matter if you have the XL brand. People will ask you, which campus? So, here I have written something that came into my mind. It may have been possible that I couldn't structure my thoughts properly, and I'll be able to articulate myself better in the comments later on, but I want to tell this to you - Whenever you get into anything that asks money from you, ask yourself what assurance do I have BEFORE I pay? What happens if people do not live upto the dreamy scenario they led us to believe in, in the first place? I am a big fan of XLRI Jamshedpur. Nothing but respect for the college. But I can't help but be skeptical about the Jhajjar campus. I do not want my fellow mates to be led into something that they can end up regretting later on. So who should join? 1. People for whom this is the last try and they have no IIM as an option or something in that category. 2. People whose parents are forcing them to join XLRI for the brand name. 3. Lastly, people who don't want to listen to anything and are determined to join. As an ending note, I would say, BE VERY CAREFUL of people who try to explain complicated multi faceted issues with simple examples. These people are deliberately trying to misguide you by shaming you into not asking questions and ignoring the fine prints. That's all folks. P. S. Are 700+ people to give up their seats just idiots?
In the official letter fhrom the director of XLRI( sent with the call letter), there is no mention of a joint final placement of the Delhi and Jamshedpur campus. Does anybody have any clarity on whether the placements will be combined or independent?
- no idea
- independent
- delhi and jsr combined

Hey everyone. It would be really helpful if you could guide me in my decision regarding whether to join XLRI , DELHI. Considering it would be the first year of the college. Do you think it would be a good decision to join that college. Feel free to put your view points, it would be really really helpful. :) Is there any reports about how the placements for the new campus is going to happen. Are both the campuses going to have combined placements?
Hello everyone . Can someone please give an idea as to how many students were called for the interview process for BM ?
what is the last waitlist number allotted to XL delhi for this list ??
Updated WL movement: BM- 97 HRM- 182
Heard this. True ? 2021 graduates at jamshedpur (current senior batch) will have thier placements in March 2021 that will be run by the incoming (jamshedpur BM/HR) juniors. . . So, the seniors will support the incoming jsr juniors batch during SIP, even if it is common. (. . apparently have a three batch policy of support it seems )
Okay, so do we have people who may still opt out of Jamshedpur BM for a better course?
- Will surely leave BM, have a better convert
- SKIP: For people can’t see the option below
- Life set hai, BM hi jaayenge
- May leave BM if I get a better convert
