Trying to gauge NCR WL movement : XLRI provided 120 offers + 400 Waitlists in the beginning. Out of that, 276 were bound to reject as they've JSR. So only 244 students were relevant in this. Also, XL provided 92 new offers in the 2nd list. So, only 28 students showed interest out of 244 students. Considering people at the bottom of WL have higher probability to go with NCR, even then I don't see an additional movement of less than 300-400.. Total movement imo should be 800-900.. Everyone will get their turn :p
What will be the cancellation fee if I withdraw by 27th July
Candidates who are leaving their XL BM seats for sure kindly comment in the comment box. Be sincere, no lies please, its a matter of career.
yesterday also XL JSR BM did not move, it remained 96 since 02-07-20. Considering the present movement, what is likely minimum conversion for BM at JSR?
- 101-105
- above 110
- 106-110
- At or below 100

Is Delhi list expected today ??
Any XLRI HRM converts or waitlisted candidates who have not got call for BM interviews and are interested in NCR? please comment or DM.
Here are my 2 cents about the XL Delhi campus (Disclaimer: I have wholeheartedly accepted the admission offer for Delhi's BM programme):
In order to determine how it will shape up to be in the future, we MUST understand why it came into being in the first place - XLRI wants to increase it's footprint (and more importantly, it's alumni base across the country). It is targeting places that are geographically closest to the economic hubs of India, as they are also the demand centers for most management leaders. (Please google what Fr. P Christie has to say about the PURPOSE behind this expansion). IMO, the larger and better positioned the collective alumni, the stronger the institution.
Just as any org. expands, a new branch/entity/location (in this case, a campus) initially requires support and guidance (here, it has taken the form of: a common admission process, a shared pool of faculty & curriculum, engagement with the student committees at the Jamshedpur campus, common SIPs and placements), so that it can stand on it's own and more importantly start CONTRIBUTING BACK to the organization, ASAP! In short, to think about this from the perspective of the authorities at XL (who aim for a successful Delhi campus, as it is crucial for their long term plan of expansion), providing equal opportunities and treatment to the students of Delhi is a sine qua non today.
It is easy to say (and probably easier to do) that the students from the new campus will not receive equal opportunities (in the minds of most of my peers on this forum, opportunity == placements). However, it is an extremely MYOPIC view to hold. Cause upon graduating, students will be known as graduates of 'XLRI' and will represent the XLRI brand, irrespective of the campus.
So, I offer this perspective to the candidates who have been honored with an admission at either campus: Would you, as a future leader, like to start out your b-school journey harboring a myopic & exclusive stance (the antithesis of a great leader), or would you like to do all that is possible to be a collective front with equal opportunities as we play a vital role in the success story that XLRI plans to be?

Anyone waitlisted for XL J BM 97-100 having HR convert?
Xlri-adcom please reply!! I got a waitlist of 550 and if I pay 50k, will it mean that I will get the seat XLRI Delhi campus, coz the offer letter mentions that it is subject to people who will withdraw.
XLRI NCR is better than IIFT, MDI, NMIMS, SIBM Pune, all new and Baby IIMs and much better than IIM Shillong, NITIE etc etc according to noobs of this page. Infact, within 3 years, XLRI NCR will become better Than XLRI Jamshedpur.

what is the last waitlist movement of XLRI (Delhi- NCR campus) ?
Having been rejected from xlri jamshedpur and gotten only admits from lower tier iims, I accepted an offer from ESSEC business school for their MIM program(equivalent to an indian mba). For those unfamiliar with ESSEC, it's a french business school with campuses all over the world. It's also ranked #3 in financial times ranking for the mim program. Today, I got an email stating I've been offered a place at XLRI ncr. Having been an XLRI aspirant for 2 years, I almost want to accept the offer. I know it's risky choosing a new college(except for the xlri brand) over one of the oldest bschools in Europe. I know my position is extremely subjective, depending upon my goals and a plethora of other stuff I just wanted to check if someone else is also in the same predicament. Any and all opinions from others are welcomed as well.
Not a XL question but:
My current waitlist at MICA is 50. Do you think I will Make it ?
- No
- Yes
