Do we have any information on the degree that XLRI Delhi graduates will receive? Will it be identical to that of XLRI Jamshedpur? For instance, BITS Pilani Goa and Hyderabad graduates get the same degree that BITS Pilani Pilani students receive. The degree has no mention of the campus.
Will HRM waitlist reach 210?

Is Waitlist of 400 seperate for xlri ncr?As seats are only 120! What are the chances for person with WL-400?
If one pays the first installment of fees (4,54,000+50,000), by when would he/she able to withdraw the amount and with what deductions(if)? Is it possible post commencement of course i.e. August 1?

As the XAT ID starts with XAT2018...... , are we supposed to enter the letters "XAT" while filling the account number details in the RTGS/NEFT form?
Can we expect any more movement in BM waitlist or is this it?

As per today's UGC notification, Universities and colleges to conduct final semester exams by Sept end. MBA colleges are going to start classes way before that date. What will happen to fresher's who are yet to give final semester examination?
Is there anyone in the group (General) who is has still not withdrawn from IIM Lucknow and is going to withdraw before the deadline?

+++ IMPORTANT: Please read comments and counters as well++ I hope you are doing well and congratulations on getting various calls from XLRI and beyond. I am someone who is associated with XLRI from a few years ago. There was a course that was launched in 2013 that now does not exist. This course was launched with all the fanfare similar to what I am seeing now. The course was promoted as an off-shoot of the BM course and was a full year 2 year, AICTE approved PGDM... So here we go:
#1: The college struggled with how to structure, run and execute the new course and was making changes on the go. Find out who is in charge of the new program.
#2: Your biggest concern: Placements. They were a very small batch and placements being combined was a no-brainer. Yet it did not happen. The placements are run by Students.( Professors guide them. But they have no real power.)
NO!.. I am not talking about student volunteers. There is ALL-STUDENT committee at XLRI JAMSHEDPUR with god complex that runs placements and they will decide what company you interview for, what companies arrive on campus etc. They have a solid Database of multiple years that WILL NOT be shared with anyone. In fact the placements for the 1 year(GMP ?) and the 2 year BM/HRM Program happen independently too. The two courses may have same companies but have different ‘committees’ .
When They approached the then Management for combined placement, they were told the college is not in the business of providing jobs, but ensures only the academics are taken care of. In short, the students of the new course were treated as second grade citizens.
IF, the management has told the placements will be combined, see who is making the statement. See if the things have changed and more importantly, see what your friends in XLRI Jamshedpur have to say. I would not trust students of xLINK because the college eventually need not endorse what a bunch a students have to say.
Also, the interviews for the mid course Summer Internship takes place in August , and is very important if you are looking to make the switch to a new field. Find out the gameplay for XLRI- NCR.
#3: Know you Profs : This matters. Find out who will teach you.
#4: Know your peers- I cannot emphasise this enough. If you go there with a 7 year experience, you will see 60% of the class with less than 1 year of experience. I know it is difficult to know this ahead of time, but you surely can get a sense from your various groups etc.
#5: Life on campus: There is like a quasi - student administration that runs XLRI . Everything from the mess , to the placements, to resume preparation , to campus IT networking , hostels, and even student affairs. You will not have this on a new campus and in a new course.
#6: do ask if the new course is AICTE approved and DEEMED AS AN MBA. Ask for documentation. You will need this if you are to ever go abroad.
However, There has been a management re-jig and for all you know things may have improved. For all you know The entire experience could be dated and maybe the institute may have learnt from its experiences. If that is the case, good for them and you ! :).. But always pays to be aware and ask the right questions before you make the jump.
Finally my suggestions, If you are a 1+ year experience guy, with a good job and a salary , STAY PUT. I think it makes no sense to join, especially under current circumstances. This is true for any Program out there.
If you have no significant downside, by all means, take the gamble. Speak to at least 10 people at XLRI/Alum before you make the jump. Even if I help one person make a decision here, I have done my job.
I wish both you and XLRI all the very best!

The below comment is a proof that XLRI is investing heavily in the new NCR campus and is much needed assurance to students like me who are choosing NCR campus happily and are grateful for the opportunity given.
So i urge all of you to stop speculating and stop degrading the NCR campus and XL brand.
P.S - I have a convert from other Top-15 school and XLRI-HR but still i am putting my faith in NCR campus.
Pl don't be carried away by mere phrases viz the new campus is an expansion in the truest sense of xl jamshedpur. Just think sensible...can an institution of ..... vintage be compared with one which is yet to even commence functioning? Bros for brand value even for iim or iit the fourth letter has the real meat for recruiters. For xl its a big business venture n they will claim so n make others also toe their line ...even by resorting to arm twisting if required by way of controlling business, grades, placement etc interests. Thus ppl having an option pl choose wisely...so that u don't repent as there's no rewind in real life. Two outlets of burger or tikki with same franchise don't do equally well....here the stakes r far far higher. All d best.
Since morning i am seeing aspirants here fighting about XLRI NCR BM. Some are saying good things about it and some are saying bad.
I am going to join NCR this year but i am not here to defend it. I know there are a lot of shortcomings in joining a new campus. But there are a lot of good sides too.
I am not able to understand why some aspirants who are not even going to join XLRI are humiliating the campus.
I am satisfied by the information received by the seniors via WhatsApp and here on Pagalguy via posts and comments. They say that it is an extension of Jamshedpur BM and nothing would be different.
Also i did not fill XLRI HRM as an option, maybe if i did i would have got it. But i have no regrets because i do not want a career in HR. I want to do MBA for long term benefits and XLRI NCR might be able to fulfil them.
I just want to give one example - Recent P&G summer internship opportunity was open to NCR as well. So effectively that only ABCL, XL Jamshedpur and XL NCR were eligible. So doesn't it make XL NCR better option than various B-Schools out there.
I have sent the following, attached email (for the second time) to the indicated admin email ids available on the websites. I request my fellow aspirants of XL-NCR to draft and send a similar/same email to the authorities in order to make them clear our apprehensions. The last email I sent had been viewed multiple times (source: Streak) but had not been replied to. If a significant amount of us do it, we might get a reply. Hence, the sincere request. Thanks in advance.
when is the first list for XL-Delhi expected ?
