Result is quite mysterious....i converted both BM and HRM jamshedpur in first list but am waitlisted in today's NCR result....though comfortably convertible. Is it easier to get into main campus? There are many such ppl as checked on converts group by me.
So guys posts padh ke jitna samajh aya wo yaha type kar raha hu. Batao agar ye sahi hai toh. Converts 120 + Delhi WL 60 already Jamshedpur 1st list me waha convert hue. Because Jamshedpur ki WL 90 tak move ho chuki hai, matlab Delhi WL150 tak saare abhi Jamshedpur converted hai. Ab ayi Delhi ke 120 ki baari, toh agle list me, WL150-WL270(Delhi) saare convert ho jayenge? Kya mai sahi jaa raha hu?

I'm really confused with this point made about both Jamshedpur and Delhi students staying in the Jamshedpur campus for the first year.
Will we even get to study on campus for the first trimester?
I request you to shed some light on when classes may start online/offline since the converted candidates got only a mention of the Introduction/Orientation sessions being on August 1 and nothing more.
Please let us know so that we can be a little mentally prepared amidst all this uncertainty.
@adcom @Ray_xl As you have given calls and waitlist to 520 students for 300(180 plus 120) seats (that leaves buffer of 125 only for 120 delhi seats considering people who have both jamshedpur and delhi converts will opt for Jamshedpur), just clarify that there will be no further changes to result.( Will not increase waitlist beyond 400 for Delhi in any case)
Can anyone please share what is mentioned in the offer letter for the NCR campus

I am assuming that XLRI admin will declare common final placements as well for Jhajjar and Jamshedpur BM. If not, it's too much of a risk to take Jhajjar BM. Feel free to leave a comment on this if you think I am wrong.

What does this mean? Can anyone help?
Do we have any information regarding final placements in Delhi-NCR campus and if the process will be combined with main campus? I will most likely convert Delhi-NCR campus in next list and am facing a dilemma over whether to pay the fees to stay on waitlist. I have already converted IIM Kashipur and IMT. Is it worth the risk to take XL Delhi if placements are not combined?
I have two options from which I have to choose. XLRI Delhi which I will most likely convert in the next list for which have to pay the WL fees by 8th. And will have to pay 4,54,000 in the coming 15-20 days most probably. And JBIMS for which I'm on the borderline case i.e. may or may not convert but that result isn't coming anytime in July. I am interested in finance. What should I do? If anyone can give reasons in comments would be really helpful. Thanks. Please skip for poll check.

Hey guys!
So I’ve secured admission at SCMHRD, which was my second choice for HR. I’m really interested in HR (HR Analytics to be precise) but wouldn’t completely rule out BM if it’s from a top B School such as XLRI.
My waitlist for the XLRI BM Delhi campus is 255.
- Is this dilemma legit? Like do I have a chance at this WL?
- Is it true that the first year will be held at Jamshedpur campus and summer placements will be common?
- Can you still pursue a career in HR despite specialising in BM if you choose the relevant courses and doing relevant projects?
- Should I take into consideration that this is the first batch at Delhi campus and hence a teeny bit risky or will the recruiters go by the brand name and both campuses come under one umbrella?
Really confused, would appreciate some input, especially from seniors.

Can someone clarify as to even though it is mentioned on the website regarding common placements for XL Delhi and Jamshedpur, why has that not been clearly mentioned in the offer letter? The offer letter only says common SIP. Is there an uncertainity with respect to final placements?
If it goes beyond WL400, Give chance to Hrm waitlisted people. I know there are few people on the same boat and will accept whole heartedly. Someone please pass my message to concerned authority. Thanking you.

I have converted IIM Ranchi and I have also converted PGP - IM at MDI, Gurgaon.
Keeping in mind the covid scenario and also the fee difference in both ( IIM Ranchi -16.5 , MDI - IM ( 25 + 5)) , is it feasible to take admission in MDI - IM.
Or should I opt for IIM Ranchi ?
There is quite a difference in package and roles offered in both colleges with MDI taking a lead here.
I have experience of about 1.5 years with current salary at 12LPA.

I have converted HRM and will most probably convert BM Ncr as well. Now I am in big dilemma what to choose. I always wanted to specialise in Marketing, second option being finance and HR being the last but this was just out of fantasy. Being a GEM fresher I don't have much idea about branches. Also these two are the only converts I ll have this year and I don't want to repeat. Kindly advise me on what should I take.
