Guys I know this has probably been asked a lot of times before, and also that we all have very limited knowledge regarding the same.
Please help me on the topic of XLRI-Delhi/NCR.
I'll post my dual thoughts:
AGAINST:- New campus, no clarity, Covid-19 crisis and the related issues, No clue of placements as to how will they happen, Faculty?
FOR:- XLRI. Naam hi kaafi hai.
( Might sound kinda silly but it sure is one of the top5 in the country and won't jeopardize its brand value and/or reputation by neglecting the Del/NCR Campus. Also considering it might actually end up very well provided XLRI does pay much attention to crafting the new campus as good as its own, as similar as its own. I understand Jamshedpur will always be the better one, but IIFT Del-Kol jaisa scene bhi chalega )

GEM Fresher at 99.5%le XAT, was very hopeful of converting XL-J but is straight rejected. Job hai, but B-School join karna preferred hai.

With 99.82 percentile, I was positive about my BM convert. Being rejected came as a shock. Though I have managed to convert HRM, I am unsure about whether to give it a go or to wait another year. To be honest, sitting again for the exam with a reject at such a good percentile would be hard. What are your views on what should I do? Please take the pain to answer this question. I'm really looking forward to the answers!
NEED A CLOSURE!!! How come so many 99.5+ percentilers got a direct BM reject with supposedly decent-good-great gdpi and not so bad a profile either!?? I understand that interviews are subjective but itne saare common cases? And people with 97-98, at least having a decent waitlist, itne saare outstanding interviews? Idk man but something just doesn't feel right! Am I the only one who feels there something weird about this! Koi ye black box selection criteria samjh gaya hai toh samjha do. I'm okay with the rejection but just the stoic resemblance of so many similar cases is just hard to ignore and move past. Bc, RTI bhi toh file nai kar sakta. Is there a significant difference between companies coming at IIM C and XLRI? The average CTC in IIM C for top 75% is almost 31LPA. I understand this is CTC but then it will be common to all top colleges.
I have a waitlist from XLRI, and I think this is my best option. In case I do convert, does anyone know how to go about getting financing in place, my family would come under 'sub-prime' you see. So, no collateral, but I have a good job right now, and 🙈 no I haven't saved a ton! Definitely need that loan. Just looking for a direction here, I'll do the research.. help if you've been through the situation : )
Hi Everyone, recently there has been a lot of bad press floating around about XLRI on quora with people posting anonymously about the institute stating the excessive restrictions introduced by the administration and in process the destruction of what is known as XL culture. Admins in this page or anyone having any knowledge on the truths of these rumours would be really helpful. Thanks.

This is directed towards senior members in the group. Wanted your insights on one of the most discussed topics here.
I have a roundabout convertable WL in HRM and a reject from BM..other options I have is IIM S , waitlist in SPJ , IITD and new IIMs...so just wanted some insights whether to go for HRM or not..I dont have any specific inclination towards HRM but the brand XL is huge..got to know from my research that very few non HR roles are there and interdomain switching is a bit difficult at later stages, with some in my circle suggesting that dont compromise on specialization and drop the year if you have the gas for another year try(especially during these Covid times)..
So requesting some opinions from XL seniors here
Guys, as people accept/reject the offer by June 1, how should we expect the waitlist to be updated after that? Would the update be present on a nearly daily basis or would there be a set of dates when updates would be provided? Also, last year, the waitlist moved till mid June (ie. till 2 months after the declaration of result). Should we expect the movement to go on till week 2 or week 3 of July this year?
I am placed at 151 in waitlist for BM. There is a lot of uncertainty going around how people would be taking up B-school offers this year, is there anything which ADCOM expects or what kind of reaction has other schools received?
