Hi Everyone, request you to share your thoughts on the jhajjar Campus. How it would affect the brand equity of XL? How would the placements be conducted for each campus? Any information or update is welcome

Here's my small analysis on the most hot topic currently on this page, the Waitlists. First Ques here is XLRI being in top 5 bschools in India, why do Waitlists move by a humongous 120-150 in past 2 years. The simple answer being Intersection of people scoring high percentiles in both XAT & CAT. People tend to prefer ABC (sometimes FMS & L too) over XLRI and hence the movement. Now mapping this thing in this year's scenario, i) XAT this year was very subjective. ex. Many people with 99+ in VARC CAT couldn't even clear cutoff of XLRI. ii) XLRI seems to have given less weightage to XAT this year, as there's a high conversion ratio of people with 97-99 %iles this year. iii) People getting into foreign tier 1 universities have taken a hit due to pandemic. Usually people leaving ABC get into foreign top universities, moving the Waitlists, which doesn't seem to happen this year. Albeit all these reasons, Intersection of people converting ABCL FMS & XLRI seems to be low & I expect Waitlists to drop SIGNIFICANTLY. P.S. This is my personal analysis, any suggestions are welcome :)
