Hi, my query is for next year. I am an engineering graduate (mechanical) and my work experience comprises of 2 year self start-up followed by 3 year full time work in the NGO sector. I am interested in pursuing this prestigious course for enhanced exposure and experience in rural entrepreneurship/PPP initiatives in social sector. Can someone from the organization throw light on my chances of admission based on decent GMAT score and my profile. Thanks in advance

A friend had just called up the adcom. They hv said it would b out next week n all candidates will get intimation whether selected or not!!!!
Hello, I am applying for the EPGP course in R2. Please let me know the following:
1. How many seats are left after R1
2. What is the average GMAT score of accepted candidates in R1
3. In the application panel we need only one reference letter and one SOP. There are no essays. Please confirm.

2. Assistant Manager : Deloitte Haskins and Sells (2009 - 2010)
Worked in tax consultancy to provide due diligence support and dealing with compliance framework for valuations. Clients included Tata Chemicals, CNBC TV-18, Mitsubishi India Private Limited etc.

Folks, I highly doubt whether the results will be announced tomorrow. There is a state wide bandh in karnataka tomorrow so dont think any organizations will be working. Would be more reasonable to expect the result, if it all, on monday.

No update on website...no email...no post related to results on any website...no one picking up calls at admission office....how can they be so shamelessly silent? If results are not going to be declared today then an update on the official website can be put up at least for the sake of courtesy..

Here are some questions raised by one of the active members in this forum. Even though as an afterthought that member deleted his comments and questions , we would reply to them just in case there are other candidates having similar perceptions/queries. I would also like to point out that most of this information is present on EPGP website and/or in this forum, in form of replies to previous queries.
I would also like to reiterate that this is a student run thread to help candidates with queries and encourage discussions that are relevant to EPGP course. Individuals who wish to compare MBA schools and courses or promote their consulting firms are welcome to create a separate thread for such discussions.
Queries:-
a) How many applications for the program in 1st round?
- Since this is a student run forum and students are not a part of admission department, we would not have this information unless admission department makes it public.
b) How many seats are divided between R1 and R2? Why the process changed from a single round?
- Round 1 and Round 2 have been incorporated for administrative convenience. Both rounds have similar allocation of seats and the chances of getting in would be nearly same. Exact number of admissions in round 1 and 2 would depend on quality of applications in each round.
c) Why are there no scholarships (unlike all other programs in FT top 100)
- IIMB EPGP does provide merit scholarships to a percentage of top students in the class post term 2 of EPGP.
- Scholarships are also provided to students with exceptional profiles. Intimation of such scholarship will be included in the offer letter/e-mail
d) What is the Median (not mean) domestic (excluding international placement) salary of last batch?
- Placement information, including mean, median salary is available in the placement brochure on the EPGP website.

I am in the process of preparing my EPGP application for IIMB. And, I have a query regarding the GMAT Official Score Report.
For the application purposes, do I need to send the GMAT official score report via GMAC or can I just use the official PDF score report GMAC provides?
