Congratulations to all those who are heading to HKU!....I submitted my appl on the 11th of march and still waiting for an update from HKU guys, though the kind of mails i have recieved from them makes me sure about a rejection heading my way. I'd still be curious to know if anyone else has recieved a call in the past few days.....My profile-GMAT-690/4.5, work ex- 3 yrs banking with Citigroup, avg acads and extra curricular(NGO).....waiting to hear from HKU though not very hopeful 😞
Hi Puma,
In the last couple of weeks some Indians were able to make it to HKU...
Rest, keep your fingers crossed... Hope you are also able to make it to the upcoming MBA class of the university...

so guys, all of you who have got admits. do make sure you visit this forum regularly and share your experiences with us.
Cheers,
Jose.
Guys who have got admits, could you clarify this thing about the fees. The HKD 315000 quoted at the website, is it only the programme fees or does it include living expenses as well.
Also if its only program fees then does it include all the expenses you will incur for your trip to london/columbia as well or that needs to be paid for separately. If separately then how much does that come out to?
knock knock. anyone home :boat:

Dear Bosvin,
Sorry, I somehow didnt receive notification for this post. Maybe it has something to do with the recent upgrades to the PG forums.
Regd your question, the HKD 315000 is only the Tuition fees, and that includes the tuition for the LBS/CBS also. Living expenses are extra. Rough estimate of living cost for single would be 6-7 lakhs. ( moderate)
if you have any other queries, please feel free to ask.
Best regards,
Ashish
thanks for the reply ashish. In fact i believe it was the upgrade that resulted in my username changing from josevin2000 to Bosvin.
Anyways its nice of you guys to start this thread. And thanks for all your valuable inputs so far. So when do you guys begin with your classes? I hope you all continue to be associated with this thread to give next years' hopefuls a first hand account of life in the HKU MBA.
I for one will also be applying to HKU next year along with HKUST, NUS, NTU and ISB. Am also tilted towards Hongkong as I want to settle down with a career in finance. In Asia it sure is the place to be also from the point of view of recovering your mba investment.
Wil post my queries as and when they cross my head. Thanks again guys and wish you all a fruitful and eventful year ahead.
Cheers,
Jose.
