Hi Rutty,
I have booked a slot for mgb evaluations on 8th july.
One of the things we need to carry during evaluations is copy of passport.
I ve applied for the same and the police report has already been dispatched. I would get the passport delivered home max by 3rd week of July.
As the program starts in Nov. is it ok that we have our passport by that time? (because previously when the program was going to begin in sept. the deadline to have a passport was 15th July. Now it must have definitely extended!)
If I get selected, would I be made an offer as I can have the passport ready before the visa process begins.
Please inform me on this aspect.

Could you also specify regarding the self-addressed sticker labels that we are required to bring?
I mean the size, color etc. If you can specify the utility of those stickers, then we could buy the required ones and keep them ready and filled.

Can you please let me know when could be the out come of evaluations are announced.I have got admission in another b-school and my classes are starting from 16th July . I am ready to exit from that B-school for SPJain..Could you please let me know if it possible to know the status of my evaluation once it is completed or within 2-3 days from the evaluation dates ....

Yes, we do consider articleship as work experience. However, you eligibility can be determined only once we see your entire application cause we need to see the kind of work you have handled post completion of CA as well.

You need to ask for blank self adhesive labels . They are like the labels used for sticking on notebook covers in school, just that these need to be blank, so you can write your name and address on it. We need this to use on envelopes to courier you documents like your offer letter or joining instructions etc.

The results of the evaluation are declared anywhere between 3 to 7 days from the date of the evaluation.

If you wish to be considered for the first evaluation round you will need to apply asap as we may start intimating shortlisted candidates anytime now.

The evaluations from 6th to 8th July is the first round for Nov 2012 intake. We will have 1 or 2 more rounds of evaluation even after this, so as to cover applicants applying till the close of admissions.

We donot have placement statistics for the MGB program because the MGB is a new program, the first batch of which is only scheduled to commence from November 2012. We send you the statistics for GMBA placements to give you a rough idea about the placements scene at SPJain.

Is the reason revealed to the applicant why the application is waitlisted? Consider the scenario I cleared the spjat with just 75 percentile , and other applicants got higher percentile .Now since you do not reveal the percentile one gets in the spjat , I have no way of knowing whether how well I have done in the exam, if I know my percentile I can give spjat another shot and brighten my chances to get a call . Just a suggestion.
