Hi Rutty,
Is this MGB equivalent to MBA or is it just a Masters Programme. Is it recognised in other countries?? if we go for PhD in any other country(suppose India) then will it be accepted by Indian universities ?
There are no fixed numbers for any batch, we only ensure that the total strength of the batch does not exceed 200. Also, there is no exchange program in the GMBA.
The program is conducted together at S P Jains Dubai, Singapore and Sydney campuses. Through this program, students gain global exposure in three highly globalized cities of the world.
Hii rutty, can u please tell me the average strength of the class for your april and december intakes..cos ive heard that your april intakes usually has more students. Secondly could you please throw some light on the exchange program that you have with schulich school of business, york university and how is it carried out.
Thanks!

Hi
S P Jain School of Global Management is registered as a higher education institution and all S P Jain programs are accredited by the Department of Education, New South Wales, Australia.
The MGB is a Master of Global Business Degree. The degree at the end of the program will be an Australian degree, awarded by S P Jain School of Global Management, Australia stating Master of Global Business (with the specialization mentioned).
The Australian degree would enhance the international acceptance of the degree, whether you wish to pursue higher studies or careers, globally. But for PhD in India, most Universities require a 2 years Masters program so this program may not qualify you for PhD in India.

Rutty,
Does this means that after having the 1st round of evalution for people attempting spjat on 22nd JULY the other rounds for all the selected candidates will be held. So that you can guys can evaluate all the profiles.
Or
Its on first come first serve basis and the people attempting SPJAt on 22nd JULY will be competing only for left out seats.
Kindly throw some light ( My doubt is in respect to MGB program)

Thanks for clearing my doubt.
Is it possible to know how many seats have been filled after the 1st round of evaluation from 6th to 8th JULY, So that we can have an idea about how many seats are still left (out of 200 vaguely) and can predict our chances.
Also i gave SPJAT on 17th June, but unfortunately coundnt clear it. Do i need to fill up a fresh application for 22nd JULY Spjat or the existing one will do.
Hi!
The total intake for the program is expected to be around 200.
Hi Rutty,

Hi
Your SPJAT score of 17th June will be valid for Dec 2012 and April 2013 intake as well.
We need the candidate to have a minimum work exp. of 3 years by the start of the program. So for Dec 2012 intake, you need to have completed atleast 3 years of work exp. by 30th Nov 2012.
Hi Rutty,
I have given SPJAT for GMBA program on 17th June 2012 and it meets the cutoff limits.
I have few queries:
1.Can I apply for april 2013 intake based on this year score?
2.I have full time work experience of 2.8 years and will be completing 3 years on 14th Sept 2012.Is the work exp. will be counted till 30th nov. just before commencement of program?

hi!
We will not be able to give you the exact number of seats remaining but you should be fine if you are taking the test on 22nd July. You need to seperately register for this test but you donot have to fill a new application for the program.
Thanks for clearing my doubt.
