Your application may have been waitlisted for some reason. All waitlisted applications will be reviewed regularly till the close of admissions.
Can you elaborate on the reasons for a waitlist?Also would be great if you can shed some light on why SPJAIN does not reveal the spjat scores ? Suppose i have cleared spjat but with 75 percentile n there are applicants who have scored more than me, dere is no way for me to know whether thats the reason why I am on w/l or should attempt spjat once more to enhance my chances to get a call .

Please clarify, because frankly my present gmat score is a letdown for me. so please suggest me what can i do regarding this. and how can i later update the score ?
If your application has been waitlisted, it only means your application must be lacking on some parameter or may be on the border line, in which case we review it again later.
If you are only lacking for an aptitude test score, we send you an email asking you to take the SPJain aptitude test to improve your scores. If you have already taken the SPJAT, you are sent a mail informing whether or not your scores meet our requirement.

Consider the scenario I cleared the spjat with just 75 percentile , and other applicants got higher percentile .Now since you do not reveal the percentile one gets in the spjat , I have no way of knowing whether how well I have done in the exam, if I know my percentile I can give spjat another shot and brighten my chances to get a call . Just a suggestion.
Yes, you can update your GMAT scores later but you need to send them by 31st August 2012.

GMBA Evaluations will be held in MUMBAI on Saturday, July 14, 2012 and Sunday, July 15, 2012. Shortlisted candidates are being informed individually over mail. Also their status will be updated online to show the same.

I have taken a date for 7th July.
They have mentioned that I will be having a Panel interview and a personal interview.
Can you just throw some light on both of them. What is the difference between a panel interview and a personal interview ?

In the extracurricular/ hobbies/ interests section you need to give details of participation in any of these. Like say working for NGOs or hobbies/ interest in photography/ swimming etc. and 'other achievements' is say where you have won competitions at the state or national level or headed a voluntary organisation etc.

The evaluation process begins with an essay/ case study round followed by an Interview with a Panel of members. The panel may have about 2 interviewers. Only students shortlisted from here go for a personal interview with the President.

Yes you can attend the next evaluation round. You need to mail us back on the gmba id to keep us informed .

Will we be informed the reason for us on being waitlist. last time i had less than 3 years of work-ex so I was waitlisted. but this time i have work- ex and 2 scores .. i will also be taking up gmat . if scores are an issue . Please tell me the reason . has the admission department sent all the mails?.. my online status was never shown as waitlisted . is there some other issue?
I took SPJAT and received mail that I met the cutoff. I filled in the application and submitted only on 2nd July( 2 days back). Just wanted to know whether my application was considered for this evaluation or not?
