I am an aspirant of the SPJ GMBA cohort of Dec'12.

I am thinking of taking the SPJAT scheduled for Jun 17th 12.

Pls guide me with suggestions / tips on the preparation for the Aptitude test.

Hi,
I have a few queries:

1. Is it possible to apply for a deferred admission to gmba program considering I fall short of work-experience criteria?
PS: in the previous student's profile I have seen students with less than 3 years of work experience.

2. How much amount of scholarship is provided(at max) if the student is able to fulfill all the scholarship criteria?

Rutty,
please do give a clear answer as to when the mgb evaluations would take place and by when we can expect the final results to be declared. It is stated in the website that the fees has to be payed by 15th july (else 15% interest). Please ensure that there is sufficient time between declaration of final results and payment deadline.
The delay is proving to be very stressfull.
Hoping to a get a clear answer from you.
Also please do update on the status of the approval for the mgb program.

I appeared for spjat online on 2nd of June. How long does it take to get the result of the online test? The mail said I would be informed about the result but did not state the time frame.

Now my application status says that I am on waitlist.
Is it just because the date is yet to be announced or I am short of any of the criteria? If so, will we please let us know which criteria I am falling short of? When can we expect the selections for the first evaluation to start??

Hi!

The GMBA program requires the candidate to have a minimum work experience of 3 years, so it is basically meant for candidates who have higher work experience. Higher your work experience the better you benefit from the program and post the program.

For GMBA we need the candidate to have a minimum work experience of 3 years. students with lesser work expereince are advised to apply for the MGB (Master of Global Business) program. You will only be shortlisted for the Evaluation process if you have the required work experience and meet all our admission parameters.

Scholarship amount is decided on a case to case basis and depending upon the need and merits of the candidate.

Hi!

The aptitude test conducted by S P Jain is intended to test a Participants IQ, mathematical ability, logic and reasoning capacity, English reading and comprehension ability. There is also a section on general knowledge. This section is intended to test the knowledge of current events and normal business awareness.

The test is for duration of 1 hour. The test paper consists of around 40 to 45 questions. The format of the test may change from time to time but the testing would be on the mentioned parameters. You can prepare for the test by practising from the CAT and GMAT preparation material.

Hi Rutty,

I had taken SPJAT on 13thMay and post that had also received a mail from SP jain stating that i've cleared the cut-off. However i've still not received any comms regarding the evalution/interviews etc..

Can you please let us know by when can we expect to receive further communications regarding the evalutions ?
(-atleast a broad estimate(like a week or two) would be much helpful.)

Kindly do let us know how much more time would it take for the evaluations to start.It would be of great help.Also , when the evaluations do start, which are the documents that we have to get along.Knowing about them in advance would be great as we can get the documents if any are missing.

I have applied for the mgb program some time back through the cat exam.when can i accept the results?it is said the results would be out on a rolling basis.if i get rejected will i be emailed?

Hi Rutty,

I am a fresher and had applied for MGB program in the month of April.I had also given my SPJAT and cleared it at that time. I too got a mail that stated that I passed the parameters for the test.However, since then I have not received a word about when the evaluations would begin.Its been over a month now.Can you give us, in a broad sense , an idea how much long it is going to take.

Also, on the site it states, that "Programme commences only after receiving approval from regulatory authorities of Australia,Dubai and Singapore".How much longer would it take for the same, if the last date to pay the fee is 15th July,beyond which 15% interest would be charged.

Could you please also tell us when the program would commence.It states that it will begin in September,2012(tentative).However, with so much delay, are the dates also going to be pushed back?

Finally,I have seen the list of companies which recruit for GMBA,which is very impressive, needless to say. However, would these same companies, or a major part of this list come for MGB too,as this is a first time course offered by S P Jain?
