I appeared for SPJAT , this 13th may and I have received a mail stating that I met the spjain cutoff.
I have a few questions regarding the placement process for MGB. It would be great if you can throw some light on them.
1. Will the companies that will be coming to SPJAIN for recruiting GMBA graduates be also interested in the MGB profiles.
2. Is it a possibility that there will be a considerable difference between the ctc offered to gmba and mgb graduates.
3. Is it advisable to people with more that 2.5 years of experience to go for MGB or the course structure is mainly aimed for fresher profiles.

last time the placement update for april 2011 batch was put much before dis date , y is dere such a delay now? the global scene is definitely not that good but still it wasn't any better in 2011.. rather than putting a rosy picture, the institute should come out with a detail report.. and update it later..

Companies that come to recruit come with certain profiles in mind. The same companies could recruit from both the programs or just the GMBA or MGB, depending on where they find the right candidate. The remuneration is decided based on various factors such as the candidates previous salary, professional background, performance in the program, performance in the interview etc.
The MGB is not structured for freshers alone, it is meant for candidates having work experience in the range of 0-3 years and also fulfilling all other parameters laid for the program. Work experience gives you an edge when you apply

Hi!
For the MGB, we take in candidates with work experience in the range of 0-3 years. There is no reservation made for freshers. Candidates are considered based on their overall profile which also includes academics, aptitude test score, extracurriculars etc.

Candidates who have been shortlisted for evaluations are only informed once the evaluation date is announced on the website so they can then start to book their slots for the evaluation. Though we normally say, it takes 20-30 days to shortlist, this period could be lesser if you have applied closer to the cut off date for that particular evaluation.

The approvals are in process and we are expecting the same to come through very soon. This has got nothing to do with the evaluation date. The evaluation date will be announced very soon.

On the MGB webpage, it is still mentioned that " Program commences only after receiving approvals from the regulatory authorities of Australia, Dubai and Singapore. "
Is the delay in the announcement of the evaluation date due to pending approvals ?
And If so, when can we expect to have the 1st evaluation round. With so much delay , it is tending to be worrysome.
Please note that I have cleared spjat and I am eligible on all other parameters.

We had given you a call to clarify the doubts we had pertaining to your application. Now, since you have cleared this, your application will now be sent to the admissions committee for their decision. There is no problem with that. Since the admissions committee (ADCOM) needs to consider all aspects we cannot comment on your eligibilty till we have a decision from them.
