ya,and what do you make about the admission process, applications accepted from cat 2010 and 2011,either the competition is too stiff or its just the lack of interest shown by applicants??
no dey are just trying to attract more people.. isb though present in india.. does not conducts its own test or takes through cat.. ( all though it admits over 700 people( mohali+hyderabad) ..but colleges like Gl also accepts previous years xat, cat and gmat scores.. but its good.. some times colleges try 2 diversify and some times dey try to bring more students...

I am sorry i never meant to demean the college.. yeah i said people do get good packages.. a gal has even got 20l.. as my acquaintance said.. but the competition is pretty tough.. getting 13l in India is pretty good.. but in 2011 i think the whole program costed only 19-20l .. but now it has increased to 25l ... I said what i have been told by 6-7 of my acquaintance's.. didn't believe in one so contacted another... n i never said it is good for IT spec.. but it is good if u wanna pursue ur career in the field u r currently working in.. and I say it again.. IT guys are payed generally less... as u can see genpact and hcl were major recruiters... rest depends on ur profile....... and I say yet again plz do not quote me wrong... U do get pretty "GOOD" packages but competition is very tough and placements not 100%....
Apart from other admission parameters, we need the candidate to have a minimum of 3 years work experience. For Dec 2012 we will calculate total work exp. till 30th november 2012. Our next aptitude test is scheduled for 13th May, details on http://www.spjain.org/gmba/aptitude_test_popup.asp We will be conducting 2-3 rounds of the test for each intake. The next test date for Dec 2012 intake will be announced after 13th May.

When can we expect the placement update of apr2012 batch which has passed out ,as u hav quoted a month back that the list will be updated & even you provided the link but sadly that was fr apr 2011 batch .Is the placements still goin on or what exactly is the scenario can you shed some light onto that as it creates a little bit of sketicsm.

He has not been placed yet and according to him-"If you have 25 lacs rupees and you dont know how to spend it, plus if you want to go for a foreign trip, go for the program.Else buy a pen and prepare for another year and give ur shot to some better colleges"

hi unisol..i have not got a single mixed reaction.. even the placed one's ( after seeing the plight of unplaced one) told me not 2 purusue this course... and told me names of other colleges to do my mba.. please Rutty tell us ... I was so interested in this college.. but now....
Could you please suggest to me the names of a few colleges that ur friend suggested to you. I was also interested in this course but the whole tri city model does not appeal to me. I wonder what "diverse business culture" do you get exposed to4 months in , because by the time you get completely acquainted to it, its time to leave. Moreover, the hike in the fees, is too much. $44090-not a joke.
I second your thoughts guys, I deferred my intake to Nov (now December) to the SP Jain twin city (now tri city) model GMBA.
More than being part of "International" cities, the diversified part depends on the international students you study with. As per my knowledge, the no. of international students in the current batch are 3 or 4 or even lesser.
Four months in a city and then you pack your bags and say bye bye to the city and more importantly, your networks/connections. Whats the point?
Furthermore, living in Sydney is going to add the cost for sure. ROI is going to be pretty low and slow.

I asked my acquanitance if the tricity program will be helpful.. they all said even the twin city was the same.. u have 2 study.. irrespective of location.. and 6 months does not adds to any exposure.. if dey were sending us to schulich then that would be an exposure as we would be having an altogether different peer group. please rutty my suggestion please u will be losing on lot of quality students.. if u make this 3 city thing mandatory.. every1 does not have 25l to visit places or to learn culture , were u might not have to work. everything is good.. till u get jobs.. if it had been 18-19 i might have taken a plunge.. but 25l is 2 much..

Since you have already applied, your application will now be screened and if it meets all our other admission parameters except for the aptitude test score, you will be informed and asked to take the SPJain aptitude test. If you donot wish to wait for the call, you can go on your own and register for the test directly as well. Your test score will be automatically mapped to your application.

Your application will now be screened to see if it meets all our admission parameters and if you are only lacking for an aptitude test score, you will be asked to take the SP Jain aptitude test.
Alternatively, you can also register directly for the SP Jain aptitude test and update us with your score.

The aptitude test conducted by S P Jain is intended to test a Participants IQ, mathematical ability, logic and reasoning capacity, English reading and comprehension ability. There is also a section on general knowledge. This section is intended to test the knowledge of current events and normal business awareness.
The test is for duration of 1 hour. The test paper consists of around 40 to 45 questions. The format of the test may change from time to time but the testing would be on the mentioned parameters.
You can prepare for the test by referring to study material used for CAT & GMAT preparation.

There is negative marking - different questions may have a different scale of negative marking, and this would be taken into account while calculating a student's score. We do not have sectional cut offs, we expect the overall score to meet our cut off.
