Hi Rutty,

Even i received a mail for evaluation process, but when i try to login to the link provided it says that i have not been shortlisted.

Please suggest.

Thanks,
Ashish

Hi Rutty,

We were supposed to provide two preferences of specialization.
I have a doubt whether the whole evaluation would revolve around the pref-1 or would we also be considered for pref-2.

Appreciate your reply.

Hi!

When you fill the application form for GMBA you need to mention the date you took the aptitude test this will enable us to map your scores once the results are declared.

Hi Rutty,

Thanks for your reply. In this case where I appear for the aptitude test first and then submit my application, how do I ensure while submitting the form that my score will be linked to my application if I clear the aptitude test. Do I need to send a mail to somebody in such a situation. Thanks in advance!

Hi!

Yes, you need to sign saying its a true copy. You need to also carry all originals as we will be verifying them against the photocopy that you submit.

Hi Rutty,

I want to understand the meaning of self attested copies of the documents mentioned in my evaluation email. Do you mean that my own signatures on photocopies of the documents will be sufficient?

Hi!

Pls send a mail immediately to [email protected] quoting your application number in the mail.

Hi!

You will be considered for the 2nd specialisation only if you donot qualify for the 1st specialisation you have applied for or the admissions committee may recommend the 2nd specialisation to you if they feel you are better suited to that.

Hi Rutty

I applied for the April 2012 intake with just over two years of experience. I had given the SPJAT on Dec 18th. I got a mail saying that my results meet the cut-off limits. I had been and am still on the wait list because I dont meet some criteria. I had sent an email to [email protected] and got a reply saying that they hadn't mapped my SPJAT scores to my application yet. Any idea how long this would take? I also want to know if, after the mapping, I would still be on the wait list because I applied with two years of experience.

Thanks
Jerin

Hi!

A student is shortlisted for evaluations only if his/her application meets all our parameters. You may have obtained a score that meets our cut off mark but the admissions committee needs to consider other parameters as well. Its quite possible you may be on a wait list because you lack the required work exp. Pl continue to track the progress of your application to see if there is any change in future.

Hi Rutty,

The site says 3 yrs exp is required for GMBA program...I will have 2 yr 10 months exp in April. What do u suggest? should I apply for the program?

Hi Rutty,
I have applied for the GMBA program April 2012 intake with 2 yrs 8 months of work ex. I am also planning to give the SPJAT to be held on the 29th of Jan. If I manage to clear the cutoff limits in the test, but am not shortlisted for evaluation, can I apply again for the Nov 2012 intake with the same score or do I need to take the SPJAT again?

Hi!

For GMBA we need students with a minimum work experience of 3 years. Exceptions to this will be made if the candidate has a good profile otherwise, such as exceptional academics or aptitude scores etc. for which you need to send your application with all details to the Admissions Committee to be assessed

Hi!

You can re-apply for Nov 2012 intake with the SPJAT score of 29th Jan 2012. This test score is valid for April and Nov 2012 intake.

Hi Miss Rutty,

I have just applied to the insti today, the 9th Jan and have two issues n wonder if you cud provide yr valuable inputs?
a) My CAT 2011 results are awaited so I have applied with ma GMAT score. Will I be permitted to report those later? If yes, what is the process for the same ? Or do I have to fill a new application all together?
b) I read somewhere in the forum that the first evaluation will happen on the 15th Jan and the next in Feb. Which slot will I fall into? Do the evaluations follow a pattern ( I mean in order of marks secured or dates submitted) or they happen randomly?

In anticipation of a prompt response.
Regards.

Hi Rutty,

Could you give an idea regarding the cultural diversity? what is the percentage of non-indian students?

Thank you.

Hi!

Our aptitude test on 29th Jan is conducted at Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad & Mumbai.
We may have another test round in the month of Feb'12. The test venues will only be known once the test date is announced.

Hi!

Your application will now be processed on the basis of the GMAt scores you have provided. If your application meets all our parameters including the GMAT scores, then you are most likely to be called for the first round of evaluation on 15th Jan'12 itself.

In the interim, you can also send us your CAT scores when the results are declared. You need to send a mail with your CAT reg. no. and result plus your GMBA application no. to [email protected]. There is no need to submit a fresh application.

If for some reason, you are unable to register for the evaluation on 15th Jan you can then take the next round which may be somewhere in Feb '12.
