My query is i want to apply through CAT 2011 score which will be released on 11th jan 2012 .So is it that i should apply for SPJAIN Dubai only after i get the result. I got this doubt because when i was trying to fill up the application it asked for CAT score.

I had applied in November. But my status is still in Waitlist. Is this because i am the re applicant. Is it because i am a re applicant mine is in waitlist or will i get call or will i be rejected. I have the SPJAT score more than 85%ile.

There is a selection even after the Interview with President. Outcome of this will be know within a week to ten days from the date of interview. Students who get through this round are made an offer.
The essay/casestudy round is more general in nature.

I have two questions.
1) As you said elimination after panel i/v. Will candidates who go ahead for president's I/V may also be eliminated or if one went up to president's I/V , one is almost done.
2) Regarding case study: Is it based on specialization taken ? or general in nature. What one can expect in case study can you just brief us.

Hi!
In order to expedite the process of admission, it is recommended that you apply at the earliest so your application goes through the initial screening round. Once you have your CAT results you can mail them to us so we can update that on your form.
While applying just mention you have taken CAT and leave the score column blank.

Did you go through the evaluations in November? if so, then we need to see some substantial improvement in your application to be considered for this intake.
If you were not evaluated last time, then don't worry your application is probably being processed you can expect an update soon.

The aptitude test conducted by S P Jain is intended to test a student's IQ, mathematical ability, logic and reasoning capacity, English reading and comprehension ability. There is also a section on general knowledge. These questions are intended to test knowledge of current events and normal business awareness. The paper would be divided into different sections based on these areas. The test is for a duration of 1 hour. The test paper consists of around 40 to 45 questions The format of the test may change from time to time but the testing would be on the mentioned parameters. The aptitude test will be a paper based test. There is negative marking - different questions may have a different scale of negative marking, and this would be taken into account while calculating a student's score. We do not have sectional cut offs, we expect the overall score to meet our cut off.
You can prepare for the test by referring to study material used for CAT & GMAT preparation.

I am scheduled for a role change in my organization in Jan midweek due to which some of the fields relating to Professional activities will change. Can I schedule an appointment for Aptitude Test before submitting my application form? Anticipating your reply.

In this case where I appear for the aptitude test first and then submit my application, how do I ensure while submitting the form that my score will be linked to my application if I clear the aptitude test. I want to understand the meaning of self attested copies of the documents mentioned in my evaluation email. Do you mean that my own signatures on photocopies of the documents will be sufficient?
