Hi!
We will be having one or two more rounds of the aptitude test for April 2012 intake. The test dates will be announced on our website closer to the date of the test. Alternatively, if you are submitting your application and if it does meet all our other parameters you will be informed when the test dates are announced. Once the dates are announced the registration can be done online.

Hi Rutty,
One of my friends in family owned business is applying for April 2012 intake. However he has to travel abroad for work in the month of Feb which might clash with the evaluation round if shortlisted. He has already submitted his application. Could you please suggest if it is possible to evaluate his profile in the January evaluation round and decision be granted based on SPJAT which he will appear for in January?
Thanks a lot!
Hi Rutty,
in the evaluation call email, one of the stages is.
Essay / Case Study
has there been any essay topic released by SP Jain for Apr 2012? can we get more details for that stage of evaluation (meaning number of words for the essays and all) ?
Thanks in advance!!
Hi Rutty,
Is there any dress code for the evaluation round. Do I have to wear a coat/tie or will a formal shirt and pant suffice.
Thanks!!

Hi Rutty
I have a question.
There are three stages in evaluation namely casestudy-->panel iv--> personal iv.
Just wanted to check whether each round is a separate rejection process or every candidate has to go for all the three stages.
Appreciate your reply.

Thanks for your help Ankit. As for the conversion from application to offer the ratio is actually about 1:8 or 1:10
Hi Rutty,
I will be joining SPJCM in Apr,12
I have many friends approaching me via SPJCM and i counsel them in gen
one question which comes up very often is the conversion ratio at SPJCM. i roughly say its 1:3, i.e. one in each 3 who applies gets through (purely my estimate)
as in ISB has a conversion ratio of 1:8
out of each 8 who apply at ISB 4.5 get called for an interview and 1 finally gets through.
it will be really great if you can answer me on this so that i continue helping other prospects.
Thanks :)
Hi!
A student goes to the evaluation round only if he meets all our admissions paramaters which includes the aptitude test score as well. Could you ask your friend to send us an email on [email protected] so we know where he is travelling and the dates he will not be available in India. We will then advise him accordingly.

Hi!
There is an elimination after the Panel interview round. Only selected students move to the final round for a personal interview.

Hi Rutty, Thank You for such valuable advices you are providing in this forum.
I have two questions.
1) As you said elimination after panel i/v. Will candidates who go ahead for president's I/V may also be eliminated or if one went up to president's I/V , one is almost done.
2) Regarding case study: Is it based on specialization taken ? or general in nature. What one can expect in case study can you just brief us.
Looking forward for your valuable reply.
Thanks
