I am planning to apply for the apr'12 intake. Can you let me know if there is a standard doc for recos provided by SP Jain which i can get it filled and sent through email or do i have to get a traditional reco letter typed with signature and seal?
Also can you let me know if it is ok if i provide recos from my office superiors alone or do i need to get them even from my engineering college professors?

For GMBA, we donot require recommendation letters at all, neither from employer nor academic.

I am joining november '11 batch for CMM, below are answers to your query
1. i have sent the initial payment via wire transfer. do i need to mail the receipt to anyone? what else needs to be done before 17th?
Before 17th importantly only the acceptance letter and advance payment need to be finished. However, as per the offer letter it is recommended that you submit all the documents required for visa, pre-qualification form with one set of back-up documents, student enrollment contract.
2. If i have already take all the vaccinations ,do i need to take them again? or just produce a certificate?
For the vaccinations already taken, you need to get a booster dose along with the doctors certificate mentioning when and where you had taken these vaccinations before. I took all the 5 injections on a go! lest it would become a hurdle in future. Heard Dubai is quite strict about it
3.the visa docs- do i need to send them to the Mumbai office? by post? or soft copies will do?
Its mentioned clearly that you need to send it in hard copies to the office.
4. the final payment - can i submit the same in person on the 24th in mumbai?
I wired it.
5. for which date should i book my tickets for? i m joining cmm ....

Please let me know if there is a possibility that the placement office in Sydney (or placement links that SP Jain has with other prestigious Australian MBA colleges) can be used for those passing out in Oct 2012?
Under the current economic climate, Australia looks promising.

While applying you donot have to submit any documents. All details will be asked for in the application form itself. If your application is shortlisted and if you are called for evaluation, at that stage you will have to get a copy of all your documents and the originals for verification.

Thanks for your quick response...Just another clarification. Is it sufficient if we post just 1 set of transcripts or do we need to post 2? I had this problem when i have applied for my MS where nearly all universities wanted 2 sets.

I am an engineering grad from pune, I hav written my gmat 700
(Q 49, V 36, AWA -5) its been roughly 28 months since am working in my family business after graduation. I had taken a break of a year in my engineering because of personal reasons and i had to attend office for dat year...den i rejoined my company once i finished my degree. My company is into manufacturing of FMCG. I took upon the responsibility of developing an entire new business vertical i. e through the franchisee route and today we hav about 8 franchisees operating successsfully with an estimated retail value of 2 crores.
My 10th - ICSE - 78
12th 82.8
B.E (production) 54.1 (university topper- 68%)
I was the president of the students association of my department in college, was responsible for arranging Guest lectures, industry visits, fests. i am also passionate about theatre, hav done ud number of stage shows and still doin it.
I wanna kno wat r my chances in SP jain global MBa

Please let me know what can I expect in the written test and the interview.
Also, I have 4 years of experience in IT and now, I am currently based in Dubai earning around 10k AED per month.
Would this course add more value to my resume as I heard that even after passing out of this course, I might land up with the same pay of 120000 AED or so in Dubai.
How well are the placement records for Exec MBA @ SP Jain Dubai.

Extra Curriculars - Good.
I heard that the minimum requirement for Consulting is 700 in GMAT. Is it ture?
if not.. then is my profile good enough? wat are the things i need to work on?

We would certainly recommend you to apply. While applying pls do elaborate on your contribution to the company. There is also a section to provide for additional infformation in support of your application where you will need to explain the reason for the 1 year gap in your education.

Since the admissions criteria for consulting management stream is more stringent, we have set the GMAT requirement at 700, but here again the candidates overall profile too would be taken into consideration. So, we would recommend you to apply with your present score.

Another question : whether the GMBA program starting April 2012 would be Tri-City(dubai, singapore, sydney) based instead of the previous Twin-City model??
If yes, then would there be any hike in the fee?
