Hi Rutty,

I am an IIT Guwahati graduate (2008 batch) and am working in power sector with NTPC Limited since then. I had taken GMAT last year and scored 740 in it. Now I want an industry change in K-12 education sector. I plan to go for an MBA and work on a general managerial position with a K-12 school brand in India. Is SP Jain GMBA suitable for my career goals as it offers MBA only in specialised couses like consulting, investment banking, logistics,marketing and IT ? Would I be able to learn general management skills and find a job in a K-12 school brand in India after GMBA from SP Jain?

Hi,

I just got an email from the India Liaison office saying that candidates who are 29 years old or above will have to get their undergraduate certificates attested by the University,State HRD, MEA and UAE embassy in order to apply for the UAE Student visa. Just wanted to double-check on this because I have also applied to some other UAE colleges like Middlesex and UOWD who have specified that candidates 25 yrs old or above need to get their degrees attested.

I had a few queries (and clarifications). I am under 29 and Indian :grin:
- (Repeat question) There is no need to get my degree attested by the University, State Notary and the Home department (concerned State), then by the Ministry of External Affairs (New Delhi) and then by the UAE Embassy (New Delhi). .. as this is only for 29 years above, right? I can skip this step.

- When is the medical to be done? I have an admit for Nov 2011 and there is not much time.

If you are under 29, we donot require attestation from any of these authorities .
we need certain vaccination and test reports from you. we have given you the list along with the Pre-departure information. Incase you have not received them, you may mail on [email protected].

i m joining the nov 11 intake. some quick ques
1. i have sent the initial payment via wire transfer. do i need to mail the receipt to anyone? what else needs to be done before 17th?
2. If i have already take all the vaccinations ,do i need to take them again? or just produce a certificate?
3.the visa docs- do i need to send them to the Mumbai office? by post? or soft copies will do?
4. the final payment - can i submit the same in person on the 24th in mumbai?
5. for which date should i book my tickets for? i m joining cmm ....
