I had submitted my application in august and had recieved an email asking me to take the SPJAT to be held on 4rth Sept.Can you please tell me if i am unable to take the Sept 4 test will i be eligible to take the test after that (the last one for this intake), as it wont be open for all students.

I mean to say about recognition. In this forum anybody hardly talking about EMBA from SPJ. So I am bit sceptical about that. Please advice.

My only purpose to get admission in a college is to get a job and earn my living. I am not interested in any brand college. Money is not an issue. It is a one time spending. I can do that. The only issue is the ROI.

i was interested in taking Marketing as my specialization.
But my concern is, my work exp by the time i apply for april 2012 intake would be 2 yrs but the experience is in the IT sector.
Will this be a problem for me to get admission,and even if i manage to get admission will placement be an issue for me.

I am Srikrishna. I have been working in TCS for the past 5.2 years. I am planning to apply for Apr 2012 for IT management as first choice , Investment banking & wealth management as my second choice.
My profile is as follows:
Xth - 80.4%
XIIth - 96.3%
B.E(EEE)-7.53(CGPA out of 10)
Work exp - 5.2 years at TCS. Current designation is IT Analyst, current role is Project leader.
Key achievements
1)Secured centum in mathematics,physics, chemistry in XIIth standard
2)Chairman of EEE dept in my college
3)Received services & commitment award for successfully completing 5 years at TCS
I will take up GMAT or SPJAT by Dec or Jan.
Please evaluate my profile and chances of getting an admit for Apr 2012.

I appeared for SP JAT i did not perform well as i was preparn fr gmat DI logic were sections which were totally alien to me scores r nt yet out bt i m hopn fr score f 30 i knw its really poor

work ex accepted 2.7 years
Merit scholarship in two sem of grad
Company sponsored scholarship during grad 1800 usd

i have applied for Glscm and consulting mgmt as i want to enter marine consultancy field.
my company is a part of logistic giant nyk logistics and megacarrier.

We would encourage you to submit a formal application to know about your eligibility. Admissions for April 2012 intake begin around Nov 2011, post which you can submit your application. The SPJain aptitude test dates will be regularly announced on our website.

Your profile seems to be fine, but your application will not move up until and unless you have an aptitude test score that meets our cut off mark. If you have not performed well in this test, you may be asked to take another test to improve your aptitude scores.

I am planning to apply for SPJain GMBA for November intake.I have scheduled my GMAT on September 20th and the last date for submitting the application is September 30th.As i am submitting the application near to the deadline,Can you provide an idea of number of seats left out in Marketing Divison for Nov intake atleast a rough guess.

This is Rajaram from Pune.. I have not appeared for CAT/GMAT and hence I do not have a score of them entered in the application form and i have mentioned in my application that I would be appearing in SPJAT test.. Today, when I checked the application status, I find my application being posted in Initial Screening-Waitlist. I would like to know is this status because that I do not have any score in my application as on date or for some other reasons too.
I have got a very good academic record as mentioned below
10th- 97%
12th- 96%
BE Automobile - 87%
Work Exp - 25 months
So, I would like to know in case I am lagging in something in my application that has given me this message!! :-(
Also, I would like to know when the results of SPJAT-Sept 2011 exams results will be published.
Eagerly awaiting your reply so that I can modify/add details to my application..

For Nov 2011, you can take the SPjain aptitude test again only if you are sent an email asking you to register for the test.
You can re-apply for April 2012 by submitting a fresh application once the admissions open

I appeared in gmat today . I got 610 . I am a software engineer with 4.5 year of IT experience and 1 year of teaching experience . I want to apply for November 2011 . Can I apply for SPJAT now? so that I can take admission in November , 2011 batch .
