Hi Rutty,

I have been offered admission to ITM and I wired my first installment today, but I was not aware of the fact that tomorrow is a bank-holiday and the amount will be credited to the S.P.Jain account only on next Monday or Tuesday ...
Please give me an extension for the fee submission.
I have already sent a mail to [email protected]

Thanks

@rutty

You left me out there, anything for me

Hi!

If you have not opted for the score to be sent directly to us, you can mail us the score on [email protected] along with your GMAT ID.
In case you are shortlisted you will be asked to carry your original scorecard for verification.

Pls note here, that our cut off for GMAT is 650 and you may be asked to re-take the GMAT or take the SPJain aptitude test.

Regards,
Smitha.

I have done my GMAT, although its not hot shot it says 570 as unofficial one.
How can i report that score to SPJAIN, i have already submitted my application and i have my application ID.

Hi Smitha,

I had given the GMAT in Oct 2009 and obtained a score of 700.

Can I use this score to apply for the April 2012 intake ? Till which intake will my GMAT score be valid.

Hi!

For admissions into the GMBA program, we only accept GMAT scores of the last 2 years. So, though you have a good score, we cannot consider that for our April 2012 intake. You will either need to re-take the GMAt or take the CAT or SPJain aptitude test for April 2012.

Regards,
Smitha.

Hi,
I have paid up for the spjat exam scheduled on 4th sept, but now realised I do not have the required work experience of 2 years. Will it be possible for me to defer the payment for the exam scheduled for the april'2012 intake instead of november'2011 intake. Thanks in advance.

Hi Smitha,

Till what time can we register for the SPJAT exam scheduled on 4th Sep'11?

Also, as asked previously in this thread, whether people having more no of years of experience (say 8-9yrs) too old for this programme because average work experience is 4.5years with most of the people in the range of 3-5 yrs max.

Let me know.

Manas

Hi!

Your Gmat score of 2011 will be valid for both Nov 2011 and April 2012. Our cut off for GMAT is 650.

If you are made an offer for Nov 2011 and if you have a valid reason to defer you can send in a request to defer your offer to April 2012.

Smitha

Hi!

Normally when a request for change in specialisation is mailed to us, we make the necessary changes in the application and send an acknowledgement to the student. We may have inadvertently missed out sending an ack. in your case. But you need not worry, the change has been made.

i am planning for the April 2012 intake.. please let know do i need to take the sept spjat or there is going to be one more test for the April intake. If at all i take the sept spjat can i use the score to apply for April 2012 intake

Hi!

The last date to register for the aptitude test is September 1, 2011(till 6.00 pm).

As stated earlier too, the average work exp of the batch is 4.5 but this also means we have a good number of students on the other side with higher experience. If you are coming in for a specialisation with relevant work experience this factor, infact, is going to be an advantage for your in terms of placements.

Hi!
The aptitude test conducted by S P Jain is intended to test a student's IQ, mathematical ability, logic and reasoning capacity, English reading and comprehension ability. There is also a section on general knowledge. These questions are intended to test knowledge of current events and normal business awareness. The paper would be divided into different sections based on these areas. The test is for a duration of 1 hour. The test paper consists of around 40 to 45 questions The format of the test may change from time to time but the testing would be on the mentioned parameters. The aptitude test will be a paper based test. There is negative marking - different questions may have a different scale of negative marking, and this would be taken into account while calculating a student's score. We do not have sectional cut offs, we expect the overall score to meet our cut off.

Hi,

Can you throw some light on the test pattern , duration etc that si conducted by SPJ?

Hi!

Since your academics are on the lower end, you need to get a really high GMAT score for the Admissions Committee to consider your application. Our cut-off , where the other parameters are satisfactory is 650.

Hi!

For April 2012, we will have fresh rounds of aptitude test. The test dates will be announced on our website post Nov 2011.

SPJain aptitude test scores are valid for 2 intakes, so even if you are taking the test scheduled for Sept 4th, the score will be valid for both Nov 2011 and April 2012.

hi,
i was interested in taking Marketing as my specialization.
But my concern is, my work exp by the time i apply for april 2012 intake would be 2 yrs but the experience is in the IT sector.
Will this be a problem for me to get admission, and even if i manage to get admission will placement be an issue for me.
