[OFFICIAL] SP Jain School of Global Management (SPJSGM) | Dubai, Singapore, Sydney: MGB & Global MBA - Admissions 2024-26

Dear Rutty,

I have over 3 years of experience with vast extra curricular and co curricular achievements.

But the initial company i worked with is no longer existing(I have all the documents of proof)Will that be a problem?

Hi!

You can apply with your CAT score of 2010, there is no need to take the SPJain aptitude test.
As for your specialisation, we normally prefer having students with the relevant background for any of our specializations. Having said this, we do consider cases where students wish to change their background for any particular reason but in this case we see the motivation behind their career change. You are welcome to apply for our IBWM or global logistics and supply change management specialisation but you will be asked the reason for this change and the Interviewers would also like to see your interest and knowledge of the subject

Regards,
Smitha.

Thanks for the reply. I have another query: I have already submitted my application couple of days back and had given IT Management as Preference 1 and GLSCM as Preference 2. Can I change my 2nd Preference to IBWM? If yes, please let me know how can I do that?

Thanks,
Abhishek

Hi,

Could you please provide some insights on the following queries of mine:

1: What is the approximate batch size of the program? Also what is the usual batch size for GLSCM specialization?
2: The placement data on the site states that the highest salary in GLSCM offered was: 3,066,668 INR and the average was :1,524,647 INR. I want to ask whether this data is regarding the placements outside India and then their equivalent in INR is shown or it is the data for the placements IN India?

Your inputs will be highly appreciated and will greatly help me in coming to a decision.

Thanks

Hi!

If you have proper documents to prove you were working with the company, we can consider the work experience. we will need to see both your joining and relieving letter.

Hi,

I wanted to know about the sydney campus. The website says it would be operational by 2012. When would it start? What would be the procedure for applying to the singapore/sydney campus program? Also, what all specializations would be offered via s'pore-sydney program?

Yes it is possible to change your preference at this stage. You need to send an email on [email protected] requesting for this change.

Hi! We have not put up any information about the sydney campus being operational from 2012. As of now we have only finalised for the November 2011 intake and for this intake the program is being conducted at our Dubai and Singapore campus only.

Dear Rutty,

Can you help me with my query?

Thanks,
Naman

Hi! We donot have any limit to the number of students we take for each specialisation, we only try and keep the average size of the batch to about 200 students. Information on our placements is given on Corporate Partners & Alumni Presence - S P Jain Center of Management, Dubai, Singapore, Sydney. Here, there is a break up given for the highest and average salary both region wise and specialiation wise. The figures have been converted in both INR and USD to make it easier to understand.

Hi Smitha,Rutty
Is there any provision by which I can get admitted for Nov 11 and defer to April 12.
I want to use my CAT score which will not be valid for April 12 intake. Are there any conditions for defering the admission?
thanks

Hi! There is a provision to defer your admission to April 2012 but the decision is taken on a case to case basis. Once you are made an offer and if you decide to defer the same to the next intake, you need to write to the Management. If they feel you have a valid reason to defer your offer you will be permitted to do so.

Hi,

I want to know in which location would the GMBA Nov 2011 ITM batch begin.
On the SP Jain website this info is mentioned at two places but both are different.

Under 'Twin City Cross Over Model' > 'Structure for Nov 2011' it says for Finance, IT & Consulting Sem 1 in Dubai.

Whereas in the FAQ section it says 'November 2011 batch, IBWM and IT participants will commence their program in Singapore'

Can you please confirm the locations?

Hi!

We would advise you to understand the structure of both the specializations and decide for your self as to what would best suit your career interest

The Consulting Management specialization covers areas like client development, advanced consulting skills and communications, decision modeling, the latest management tools and practices, project management, change management, practice development, corporate recovery and other pertinent courses. The pedagogy simulates a real consulting firm by using hundreds of case studies and providing extensive problem-solving practice.

whereas the Investment Banking and Wealth Management curriculum includes corporate valuation, mergers, acquisitions and corporate restructuring, private equity and venture capital, wealth management and tax planning, hedge fund strategies, long term finance and more. With industry experts teaching from different parts of the world, case study discussions on why companies failed or succeeded, project work facilitating Participants to put learning into practice, simulations enhancing the technical and theoretical training gained during classroom sessions.

Smitha

Hi!

Thanks for bringing this to our notice. We will get this changed asap.
The error is in the link which takes you to the 'structure' of the program but the details given on the FAQ page and 'Twin City Cross Over Model ' page are correct.
IBWM and IT will start in Singapore and students finish out of Dubai
Consulting, Marketing and Logistics start in Dubai and students finish out of Singapore

Hi, do we have be present in person for the whole interview process? Is there an option to do it remotely?

Thanks.

Hi Rutty,

I have been offered admission to ITM and I wired my first installment today, but I was not aware of the fact that tomorrow is a bank-holiday and the amount will be credited to the S.P.Jain account only on next Monday or Tuesday ...
Please give me an extension for the fee submission.
I have already sent a mail to [email protected]

Thanks

Hi!

If you are residing at any of the cities where we have our offices ie. India, Dubai or Singapore, then you need to be present in person for the evaluation. Else, we can arrange for it to be done remotely.

Smitha.
