I wanted to apply for nov-11/apr-12 intake for sp jain.
My details are as follow:
Xth : 80.7%
XIIth : 78.33%
B.Tech(I.T.) : 5.8/10
Work ex : 2years 9 month(by oct 2011)( IT software Engineer)
I want to give spjain aptitude test.
I just want to ask Is my Btech % will create any problems. Do I hold any chance to get into SPJain?
If I get good marks if aptitude test, will it compensate my btech marks?
What I can do to compensate my Graduation marks?
Has anybody's status changed on the website?
CAT scores of which year are valid for applying. I had taken CAT in 2009...would the score be valid?

I have applied for the Nov 2011 intake but waitlisted in the initial phase of screening.I ad applied with my old GMAT score of 640 and clearly mentioned that i would be taking the SPJAT test/However due to certain professional commitments i wouldn't be able to give the test in July and August.I would like to know whether the spjat will be held in the month f Sept so that i can give it without fail??

Hi!
If you apply for this intake and donot get selected for some reason, you can still try and reapply for the next intake. You need to only ensure that there is some improvisation in your application as compared to the earlier application you made eg. you apply with better aptitude test scores, or gain more work experience or have some achievement to show etc.
As for the SPJain aptitude test scores, they are valid for 2 intakes. So if you are taking the aptitude test for the Nov 2011 intake, you can apply with the same scores even for our April 2012 intake.

I am planning to join in GMBA programme for Apr 2012 intake.
I do have some doubts regarding this program (GMBA), If I apply for this Intake (i:e Nov 2011), By chance if I am not selected ,will that have any impact on my next admission process( Apr 2012)?.
What If I am able to clear the cutoff for written test and couldnt complete the second phase of counseling. Is this goning to effect my next attempt?
Kindly replay back to me as I need to start preparation accordingly

If your academic grades have been low, you can make up for that by applying with good aptitude test scores, work experience, achievements etc.

For Nov 2011, we are accepting results of CAT 2009 and CAT 2010 ie. results declared in 2010 and 2011.

Yes, there will also be a 3rd round for the aptitude test, this may be scheduled around September or October 2011.

I just gave my test today and was ok but was not that great due to time constraints. I wanted to know what is the score ( Not percentile ) cut off. I am expecting a score of 52 for 100. I know its a poor score but what are the previous scores. Please reply i am very eager to know this...

Admissions for GMBA are on a rolling basis, so we say the earlier you apply the better it is for you, not just in terms of getting a seat but also because you get more time in hand to complete all other formalities.
For Nov 2011, we have had our first aptitude test on 17th July. Our first evaluation round will be held early August. Similarly we will be having 2 more rounds of the aptitude test and evaluation again for Nov 2011.
You donot have to wait till you get your aptitude test scores to apply. You can submit your application before that and update us your score once you take the test and get your result.

We normally prefer candidates with a minimum of 2 years work experience to apply for our GMBA program. Exceptions are made only in extraordinary cases such as exceptional academics or aptitude scores etc. for which you need to send your application with all details to the Admissions Committee to be assessed.
