For registering for S P Jain's Aptitude test. Kindly revisit this link from July 15, 2011 ( 2.00 pm ) onwards to generate your Hall Ticket. Please remember to use the SAME email id that you have used right now to register while generating your Hall ticket.

What bout yours, you got the same or different things lol.

Hi!

As part of the GMBA program, we did offer students the option to study a part of one Semester at the partner Universities (for April intake it was Schulich Business School, Canada and University of New South Wales for November intake) but for some time now we haven't been able to schedule these due to certain reasons and therefore we have put this program back as a Twin City program.
Since, S P Jain Center of Management is now registered as a higher education institution and all S P Jain programs are accredited by the Department of Education, New South Wales, Australia , you have Australia mentioned together with Dubai and Singapore below the Institute's Name.

Hello GMBA team

I was checking gmba page and there u have mentioned 3 contries name ...dubai singapor n sydeny ...is this program will run in 3 contries. they have mentioned that degree will be awarded from australian university, after studying in duba/singpore how a third country will award a degree.

Hi!

We donot send any email to confirm your registration, you get a Thank You note at the end along with the process to generate your Hall Ticket. If you didnot get that pls forward your query to [email protected]

Hi Admission team,

I am applying for GMAT Nov 2011 intake.I have registered for SPJAT which is on 17th July. But I didn't get any mail notifications for the same. Will i be able to get the hall ticket from spjain.org i.e. on the mentioned date which was 15th July?

Regards,
Avinash

Hi!

We donot provide any sample papers for the test. You can prepare for the test by referring to study material used for CAT & GMAT preparation.

The aptitude test conducted by S P Jain is intended to test a student's IQ, mathematical ability, logic and reasoning capacity, English reading and comprehension ability. There is also a section on general knowledge. These questions are intended to test knowledge of current events and normal business awareness. The paper would be divided into different sections based on these areas. The test is for a duration of 1 hour. The test paper consists of around 40 to 45 questions The format of the test may change from time to time but the testing would be on the mentioned parameters. The aptitude test will be a paper based test. There is negative marking - different questions may have a different scale of negative marking, and this would be taken into account while calculating a student's score. We do not have sectional cut offs, we expect the overall score to meet our cut off.

Hey Avinash,

Have you already applied and paid for this.
What are you studying for this, any samples or anything lol, nothing is there.

Thanks,

I just wanted to get clarification on whether we get any email notifications for Hall Ticket or not.

@rutty_bharucha

Thanks a lot for this quick help, really appreciate that.

I hope i missed the info on the clearing score for the test, anything specific percentage and if we do clear this i hope GMAT wont be needed..
Right ..??

@Tuor

Same boat now.
Let me know what to study..??

@nikh880

Dude, its hard to prepare when you know its only going to be one hour test.
Good that they don't hv sectional cutoffs.
I guess one has to look for their own strong areas.
Any idea about what IQ questions are all about?

Yea this is the beauty of the test.

Now if you have +1 & -2 for GK, even if i am a bit strong, i wont dare touch it.
So i think its going to be a surprise package for us.

Admission Team,
Your all test centres are very far from east zone, I mean you should have centre in Kolkata also. People from near by reason either have to do one dat journey by train or have to catche the flight. We would request you to consider test centre Kolkata also for August SPJ test.

Hi just wanted to know....If the evaluation dates and the people selected for evaluations will be disclosed after the SPJAT or before....who have applied using CAT and GMAT score??

Hi!
Yes, you have got it right. You need to revisit the link on 15th July post 2 pm to generate your hall ticket.

Hi!

Our cut off mark for the test is generally 75 percentile.

Hi!

We will be having the evaluation sometime after the SPJain aptitude test is held.
So students who have been shortlisted for evaluations on the basis of CAT and GMAt scores will get an update around that time. This evaluation round will also cover students taking the SPJain aptitude test in July

Smitha.

Hi
I have applied for sp jain GMBA Nov 2011 intake. I did not attend CAT or GMAT or sp jain test. Should i apply for sp jain test or sp jain will allot me any test timing. I heard from few friends that they got a call from sp jain and asked them to take test on july 17th. I have not got any call yet. So should i apply for test seperately?

Hi!

In order to process an application we need to have the student's aptitude test score. So if you have not taken either CAT or GMAT, you can register for the SPJain aptitude test scheduled for 17th July.

Applications received without an aptitude test score are kept on a waitlist till we receive their aptitude results.

Thanks for clarification.

Hi Smitha,

I have two queries:

(1) I live in Delhi & I will be taking the SPJAT in Delhi only, however,my permanent residence is in Kolkata. So while filling the form which address am I suppose to enter since the registration form ask for "PERMANENT RESIDENCE".
If I give my Delhi address (my correspondance address), will that do?

(2) Moreover, I don't have any landline number at Delhi residence. In that case, what shall I do? Can I provide my Kolkata residence landline number. Will the form accept this?

Please let me know at the earliest as I need to register myself for the SPJAT test.

thanks & regards,
Manas

HI Smitha.

I am planning to join in GMBA programme for Apr 2012 intake.

What If I am able to clear the cutoff for written test and couldn't complete the second phase of counseling. Is this goning to effect my next attempt?
Kindly replay back to me as I need to start preparation accordingly
