Does SP Jain Dubai prefer higher exp students for their program

For the November 2011 intake, S P Jain Aptitude test will be held in the months of July, August and September 2011. Full details would be put up on our website, closer to the dates of the test. Once the dates are announced, you can register online.
You can however, submit your application for the program and send us the test scores later.

You will be required to re-take the exam or take the SPJain aptitude test as we accept GMAT scores for tests undertaken in the years 2010 and 2011 only.

Hi!

The average work experience of the cohort is 4.5 years. Candidates are selected on the basis of the quality of their work experience apart from other factors such as academics, aptitude scores etc. Candidates with higher work experience do certainly have an edge over the others.

The Executive MBA (EMBA) offered at SPJain Dubai-Singapore is a part time programme offered for residents of Dubai-Sinagpore respectively. Applicants from other countries will not be given a student visa for a part time programme.If you wish to study for a MBA on a full time basis we offer the Global MBA programme.

XIIth (CBSE) : 77%
B.E (B.I.T Mesra) : 64.3%
Work-ex : 36 months as of now in IT (2 big names of the industry)
EC : decent

I am planning to apply for ITM.Is my profile good enough to fetch call or shall I take SPJAT too??

Hi!

You can submit your application before taking the aptitude test. Once you have taken the test and the results are declared we will map your score to the application and let you know whether you qualify for the evaluation.

A candidate applying for GMBA-Nov'11 should have a minimum of 2 years work experience as on 31st Oct 2011, apart from work exp. we also look at other parameters such as Academics, Aptitude test scores, Leadership skills exhibited etc.

There is no reservation for applicants from India. Admissions are solely on merit so there is no fixed number we keep for students from India.

The minimum work experience required to apply for GMBA is 2 years and the average work experience of the cohort is 4.5 years

We do consider cases where students wish to change their background for any particular reason but in this case we see the motivation behind their career change

Hi!

Candidates are shortlisted for evaluations only if their application meets all our parameters which also includes the aptitude test score requirement we have.
The evaluation is generally held within a week or 2 after the S P Jain aptitude test is held. Once the aptitude test results are declared, we map the results of applications which have been waitlisted and then applications meeting our cut off mark are called for Evaluations. So by applying earlier you would only expedite the admission processs.

CAT: 88percentile
10th, 12th (State board)- above 80percent
Graduation: Mech Engg (1st division)

Work Exp: 3yrs in IT
Received 4 awards from my work place. One from President of my previous employer (Giant)
Also, I have recommendation from my previous employer's AVP.

Extra curricular's: pretty decent
Played Basketball National's trials and state level tournament
Swimming- won many a times @ vidarbha and district level
Guitar- Lead guitarist (College and Office band)
Tabla- 5 Exams completed
Yoga- 1st exam cleared (distinction)

I may convert Welingkar's PGDM prog this season. I have applied for SP Jain's Dubai course for Nov intake last friday.
Do I stand a chance for a call..?
Approx in how many days does SPJ gives a call for this interview?
In case, If I convert Welingkar's PGDM course till then, should I go for WE's course or waiting for this is worth it?:splat:
I have to take a PG course this year anyhow (some personal reasons)

Also, I was selected for SPJ's PGCIM's final director's interview (SPJ+IESEG(France)), but dint appear for the same as I dint feel it that worth.
