I have not given CAT/GMAT. Please let me know if SPJATwill be enough to apply for Nov,11 intake?

I have deferred my admission to November intake in MM. For the last 6 months I have been working in supply chain domain with the market leader in SCM solution provider to retail industry. I have developed a strong liking for the domain. I am aware of the fact that I have an option to change my specialization but I have some doubts that I'd request you to clarify. With only 6 months of SCM domain exp out of my overall 3+ years pf Exp would pose any challenges in my placements post MBA if i opt for GLSCM specialization? Moreover, would a complete IT background have negative effect on placement for me as a GLSCM student?
Also, I was not able to find details of the actual job profiles offered to GLSCM students at S.P.Jain.
Kindly answer my questions and provide me with the required information so that i can make up my mind.

However, based on these details, we would certainly recommend you to apply.
Admissions are on a rolling basis. We have 3 evaluation rounds each intake, so the earlier you apply the faster you would know your outcome.

Received 4 awards from my work place. One from President of my previous employer (Giant)
Also, I have recommendation from my previous employer's AVP.
Extra curricular's: pretty decent
Played Basketball National's trials and state level tournament
Swimming- won many a times @ vidarbha and district level
Guitar- Lead guitarist (College and Office band)
Tabla- 5 Exams completed
Yoga- 1st exam cleared (distinction)
I may convert Welingkar's PGDM prog this season. I have applied for SP Jain's Dubai course for Nov intake last friday.
Do I stand a chance for a call..?
Approx in how many days does SPJ gives a call for this interview?
In case, If I convert Welingkar's PGDM course till then, should I go for WE's course or waiting for this is worth it?:splat:
I have to take a PG course this year anyhow (some personal reasons)
Also, I was selected for SPJ's PGCIM's final director's interview (SPJ+IESEG(France)), but dint appear for the same as I dint feel it that worth.

We accept CAT, GMAT or SP Jain aptitude test (SPJAT) scores for admissions to GMBA. You can take any one of these tests. All 3 are given equal importance .
For the November 2011 intake, S P Jain Aptitude test will be held in the months of July, August and September 2011. Full details would be put up on our website, closer to the dates of the test. Once the dates are announced, you can register online.

Dear Student,
If you have been made an offer for a specific specialisation, you are not allowed to change it later. You were made an offer for Marketing Management last intake, this specialisation has now been changed to Contemporary Marketing, you may have received your deferred offer letter for this specialisation also by now.
As for your query on placements, normally recruiters take into account the candidates past work experience records and performance on the program/ project etc. into account. Therefore, while making you an offer also, the admissions committee would take into account your interest and make you an offer that would best suit your career prospect post the GMBA

Kindly let me know for Nov 2011 intake if in the first attempt of SPJAT i am not goin to have the minimal expected score, can i give the exam again in Aug & Sep ?
Will my old score(July Score) affect in case i am goin to get a better eligible score in Aug or Sep?
Currently i am working out of Abu dhabi. Let me know the tests that is to be conducted, will have a center at Dubai for all three monce (July, Aug, Sep).

If you have taken the test once and do not obtain satisfactory results, you can retake the test . In this case, we will consider the best of your scores into account.
Since, you are based at Abu dhabi, you can take the test from Dubai. The test dates for Dubai will not be the same. You may submit your application form for the program, our office will then get in touch with you on the test dates for Dubai.

For the November 2011 intake, S P Jain Aptitude test will be held in the months of July, August and September 2011. Full details would be put up on our website, closer to the dates of the test. Once the dates are announced, you can register online.
The aptitude test conducted by S P Jain is intended to test a student's IQ, mathematical ability, logic and reasoning capacity, English reading and comprehension ability. There is also a section on general knowledge. These questions are intended to test knowledge of current events and normal business awareness. The paper would be divided into different sections based on these areas. The test is for a duration of 1 hour. The test paper consists of around 40 to 45 questions The format of the test may change from time to time but the testing would be on the mentioned parameters. The aptitude test will be a paper based test. There is negative marking - different questions may have a different scale of negative marking, and this would be taken into account while calculating a student's score. We do not have sectional cut offs, we expect the overall score to meet our cut off.
You can prepare for the test by referring to study material used for CAT & GMAT preparation.
We evaluate a potential candidate overall, on several factors. These are: good GMAT, CAT or SPJain aptitude test scores, good academic record, relevant work experience, good communication and such skills and extracurricular and co-curricular activities.
Our cut-off for GMAT is 650.
