We thank you for your interest in our GMBA (April 2011 intake) program. We have scrutinized your application and are pleased to inform you that you are eligible for the second stage of the selection process"
But if I try to access the payment page at Evaluation for S P Jain's Global MBA Program, I am not able to make the payment. The Payment Amount comes as $1.00 instead of $50.00 and the transaction fails.
Also, all the last dates on the page seem to be Oct, 2010. Is there a problem with the link or is there something that I am missing?
Please let me know how I should go about making the payment. I would like to book the slot as early as possible.

"Yes, you will be required to re-take the exam, as we accept CAT results declared in Feb 2010 and Jan 2011; GMAT scores for tests undertaken in the years 2009 and 2010 and up to February 21, 2011; and S P Jain Aptitude Test scores for tests undertaken from Jan 2010 onwards.

"Wait List - Initial Screening Thank you for the interest shown in S P Jain, Dubai-Singapore's GMBA (April 2011 intake) program. We are in receipt of your application and on screening the same we find you falling short on some of our admission criteria due to which we have kept you on our waiting list. Periodically (there is no specific time frame for doing so - it is done as and when the need for doing so arises) this list is reviewed and students moved to the evaluation process. Please check this website at intervals to ascertain if there has been any change in your admission status."
Does that mean I can't go for next stage?

Is is on the lines of US B-Schools, R1,R2 etc
If that is the case. means R1 has the maximum chances of getting the admission, please tell me , when is the R1 going to close(or it is already closed)

At the time of accepting your offer you are required to pay the initial deposit of USD 2500 (which is a part of the total fees) and the balance to be paid later before your Visa papers are sent for processing which is sometime in March.

Yes you can apply with this profile but final decision would only be given by the admissions committee once they receive your application.
CAt 09 results were declared in Feb 2010. so we do accept that for our April 11 intake.

Which means students who have applied till date and are shortlisted are going to be called for the evaluations on 9th January. Students applying after the 1st week of January or those waitlisted as of now are going to be called for the next evaluation scheduled sometime in Feb and then we would have another last one in the month of March. Offers would be made after each evaluation.

I wanted to know something about the placements of recently passed out cohort of 2010 , how many students are still left to be placed. Also on the site it is written as if we get less than 3.0 CGPA overall then the college wont assist in placements . Please clarify this since in all other colleges cgpa is considered only by few companies which visit the campus. And all other colleges equally assist the students with low CGPA to secure a placement. Please clarify my fears.

Many thanks for the response. I am not sure but since I don't have any scores as of now, is it because of this my application status waitlisted?
Unfortunately, I forgot to fill the last column for my past work experience (only date). For the same, I received an email and I have replied on the same.
Only yesterday, I received another email from Priya, at SPJain, regarding the invitation for taking SPJAT on 23 January 2011.
Any idea on this??
