[OFFICIAL] SP Jain School of Global Management (SPJSGM) | Dubai, Singapore, Sydney: MGB & Global MBA - Admissions 2024-26

Thanks Rutty.

But to be considered for the first round of evaluation, do I need to submit my scores before Dec 15th? or is it fine, if I submit the score before the SPJAT results are published?

Hi!

Yes, it is fine for you to take your GMAt on 15th Dec. Last date by when we should receive your aptitude scores is 21st Feb (also the last date for applications). You will only be able to move into the evaluation stage after we have received your aptitude scores which ofcourse should also meet our cut-off mark.

Hi!

Sorry, yes there is a possibility of conducting a telephonic interview for students residing at countries where we do not have an office.
While applying, you need to mention your current address as address for correspondence.

Hi Rutty,
Thanks for your reply.
My question regarding the telephonic/skype interview option is for the admissions process of SPJAIN. I am planning to apply for 2011 intake. As I am working outside India, is there a possibility for telephonic interview if I am shortlisted ?

Hi Rutty,
I will be joining SP Jain for the April 2011 intake. I have some queries.
1. I saw the placement report for the November 2009 batch on the website. You have indicated that over 80% students have been assisted placements. Why, this time, 100% placement is not achieved? All these years SP Jain have been known for achieving 95% - 100% placements. But this time it is just over 80%.
2. When is the course for April 2011 intake commencing?
3. When shall we come to Singapore/Dubai for the course? How many days before the commencement of the course?
4. How many students do you award scholarships for a particular intake? What is the extent of scholarship?
5. Do you give regionwise scholarships eg. India, malaysia, thailand etc..?

Thanks

Hi!
  1. Our placement process for the Nov 09 batch is still on, we will be giving you regular updates on our website on this.
  2. The April 2011 batch is scheduled to commence around the 2nd week of April. You need to reach the campus about 2-3 days prior to the batch inauguration
  3. S P Jain very selectively offers scholarships/loans at low interest rates to meritorious and needy students for which a separate application needs to be put in. Pl visit the following link to know more about the eligibility criteria and process to apply for scholarships.

Hi Rutty,

Really appreciate the help you are offering on this forum.Had a few questions.Pardon me if they have already been answered.

Does SPJain Singapore campus offer only executive MBA programme ?
I will be having experience of 20 months by April 2011 , am I eligible for any programme ?
If yes, then please mention the programme and last date to apply for the same .

Thanks a lot.

Hi!

We offer two programs at the postgraduate level at our Dubai-Singapore campus- The Executive MBA (EMBA) and Global MBA (GMBA). The EMBA is a part time programme offered for residents of Dubai & Singapore. Applicants from other countries will not be given a student visa for a part time programme. If you wish to study for a MBA on a full time basis we offer the Global MBA programme. The GMBA is a full time one year programme having 2 intakes in a year, one around April/ May and another around the month of November/ December. We have started with admissions for our April 2011 intake. Last date to apply is 21st Feb 2011.

We normally prefer candidates with a minimum of 2 years work experience to apply for our GMBA programm. Exceptions are made only in extraordinary cases such as exceptional academics or aptitude scores etc. for which you need to send your application with all details to the Admissions Committee to be assessed.

also are evaluations conducted only on one day or is there a window of few days?

Hi!

We normally start informing students a week or two before the date of evaluations.
Evaluations are normally held for 2 days in a row, but this could change at the discretion of the management.

Hi Rutty,
Waiting for your reply....

Hi Rutty,
I want to apply for April 2011 intake. Can you please tell me how should I take SP Jain test? I have a work exp. over 5 years in financial research and analytics.
What kind of preparation is required (the subject matter of this test)?
I will be submitting my application by next week.

I will appreciate a quick response.

Thanks

Hi Rutty,

I applied for April 2011 intake. I am an Indian passport holder working as permanent employee in UK. I got mail from admissions team that I am shortlisted for the process and I need to pay 90-USD for aptitude test/Interview/Essay/Case-study process.

Can you please provide more details about the aptitude test. As far as I understand from the website, I need to take either GMAT (OR) CAT (OR) SPJAIN exam. I have taken GMAT exam already and filled the score in the application form. I can send the official test report as well.

Also, I can arrange for direct transfer of money to a bank account in India which would be much faster. Is there any bank account in India to which I can transfer the amount instead of CITIBANK, DUBAI.

Thanks and Regards

Regards,
Ajay

Hi Ajay

May I know when did u applied for GMBA and what is your GMAT score?

Hi!

We are having our first aptitude test on the 19th of Dec'10. We will be doing two more tests around Jan and Feb. You need to track our website regularly for announcements regarding the test and register for the test whenever you wish to take it.

You can go ahead and submit your application before taking the test. Your application will be kept on HOLD till we receive the aptitude scores. Once you have taken the test and the results are declared we will map your score to the application and let you know whether you qualify for the evaluation.

The aptitude test conducted by S P Jain is intended to test a student's IQ, mathematical ability, logic and reasoning capacity, English reading and comprehension ability. There is also a section on general knowledge. These questions are intended to test knowledge of current events and normal business awareness. The test is for a duration of 1 hour. The test paper consists of around 40 to 45 questions
You can prepare for the test by referring to study material used for CAT & GMAT preparation.

Hi!

Our cut-off for GMAT is 650 and we only accept scores of 2009 onwards. If your test score meets these criterias you need not take another aptitude test. In which case you will have to mail us your score card asap.

If you have to take the test you need to follow the instructions as advised. Wire transfer can only be made to our account at Dubai.
