Hi!

For the April 2011 intake, S P Jain Aptitude test will be held at various cities in India in the months of December 2010, January and February 2011. We will shortly announce the test date for December post which you can register for the same online.

I will be completing my application form today. I have not taken up cat or GMAT. When will get the next chance to take up the SP Jain aptitude test? I am based in bangalore and where are the tests conducted?

Hi!

You can enter the details of year 5 in the section for postgraduate qualification and you can explain this in the section provided for 'Additional Information'

Hi!

You are required to pay your entire fees before the start of the program. The deadline will be given to you in your offer letter but it is generally before we apply for your Visa.
Before that, you would need to pay a part of the registration fee (USD 2500) at the time of signing your offer acceptance.

Hi!

Sorry for missing out this post earlier, basically some students find jobs on their own and dont keep us informed. Since we donot have any information about these students we had given our placement statistics for April '10 as 98%.

Placement details for the Batch that graduated in Oct 2010 are put up on our website now.

I want to apply for April2011 intake please shed some light on the query I had asked earlier about the placement of april 2010 intake still being shown as 98% only on the website does that mean still 100% placement is yet to be achieved in the APril batch and also on the placement of nov2010 intake ....your inputs are pretty valuable ......

Can u advise if i can opt for consulting management as my second choice. My first chioce GLSM. I am from merchant navy background with strong academic and extra curricular achievements.
Also will students be selected for 1 stream or they will be selected for both the streams opted if found suitable and then the final decision on the stream will be left to the student.
Pls advise

Hi!

Your application will first be screened for your first choice of specialisation. If the admissions committee does not find you suitable for that specialisation you will be screened for your second choice of specialisation. An offer will only be made for one specialisation.

hi!

Yes it is the same fee. Its basically a part of the registration fees that is collected at the time of offer acceptance. Its a non-refundable deposit.

It normally takes us about 15- 20 days at this stage, but you need to also track your status online from the link given to you, which is http://www.spjain.org/gmba_admissions/admissions_application_status_login.asp
- There is no fixed number allocated for any specialisation. The numbers could vary each intake.
To name a few, they are-Mphasis, India Infoline , HCL Singapore

I am planning to apply for SPJAIN gmba program-April 2011 intake. I want to keep 'Consulting Manegement' as first preference and 'IT Management' as second preference.

I would like to know about job prospects for 'Consulting Management' in Singapore after the program. Can you please mention few companies that recruited students from 'Consulting Management' specialization in Singapore and India. Does SPJain conduct Job-Fair in all locations?

I have been working in UK as permanent employee for over an year. I would like to know if skype/telephonic-interview can be conducted for applicants outside India OR face-to-face interview is mandatory?

Hi!

Yes, it is fine for you to take your GMAt on 15th Dec. Last date by when we should receive your aptitude scores is 21st Feb (also the last date for applications). You will only be able to move into the evaluation stage after we have received your aptitude scores which ofcourse should also meet our cut-off mark.

We started consulting management as a specialisation for the first time for Nov 2010 intake, which has just begun, so we are yet to start with placements for that batch. Since the specialisation was framed in consulatation with the industry, we expect the best of names to be on campus for recruitment.

My question regarding the telephonic/skype interview option is for the admissions process of SPJAIN. I am planning to apply for 2011 intake. As I am working outside India, is there a possibility for telephonic interview if I am shortlisted ?
