A student is allowed to give his choice of location at the begining of our placement process and we do try our level best to help the student find a placement of his choice.

As of now we have the complete placement details of our April 09 batch, this is also put up on the website. That batch had about 30% students getting jobs in Singapore and Malaysia and 20% in Dubai, the balance were for India.

Dear Rutty ,

AS mentioned by you in the website only 98% of the students have been placed . Does that mean that the college is yet to achieve a 100% placement for the April 2010 Batch considering that its already been 6 months since they passed out of the college .......

For virtually all sections the word limit in online form is 120 and for the offline form it is 250 words. This includes extra curricular activities, professional and other achievements and job profile. Additional achievements have word limit of 120 words in online mode and 500 words in offline mode.

Hi!

We have laid 650 as the cut-off mark for GMAT and we normally donot accept candidates with a score below that. Exceptions are only made if the candidate has a good profile otherwise. So we recommend you to submit your application with your present score of 640, we will let you know if you need to take another test.

Also what kind of profiles they were having. I have a gmat score of 640 and wondering what are the chances of getting a call with such a score?

Thanks for bringing this difference to our notice. This must have happened at the time of updation. We are getting this rectified to ensure there is no difference between the 2 applications.
As mentioned earlier, both online and hardcopy applications are given equal importance. You can choose to fill either of them as per your convenience. Your application will be screened solely on the basis of merit.

Hi!

I would suggest you to submit your application and leave it for the admissions committee to decide based on your entire profile.
If you donot qualify this time you can apply again in future. This application will not jeopardise your chances in future.


Hi Rutty,

I will have 20 months of work experience by 31st. March, 2011 (which is less than the "small percentage of students with 2 years' experience", as mentioned on the website). Does it still make sense to apply ? Do i stand a realistic chance with 20 months of work-ex ?

You can expect an update on your status sometime in Dec . Pls keep checking the online link given to you to track the progress of your application.
You will be selected for your choice of specialisation if your application meets our requirement.

We have started with admissions for our next intake of April 2011. Last date to apply is 21st Feb 2011. Admissions are on a rolling basis so it best to apply at the earliest.

Hi rutty,

My question is regarding the new specialization "Consulting Management" being offered from this year onwards.
I am inclined towards pursuing a career in management consulting. Please could you let me know if the school has any tie-ups with the consulting industry where students would get an opportunity to work on live consulting projects.. .. considering its a relatively new field , how does the school plan to prepare its students for placements in consulting industry?

i've completed my graduation in 2010, and i have answered CAT this year...the scores of which r nt out yet, bt m expecting a descent score, i've scored 63% in my grad, 78% in hssc and 83% in ssc, and i've been actively involved in extra curriculars at my college level, bt i don have ne work experience, do i have ne chance of getting in sp jain dubai or singapore?? shud i apply for it??

I want to apply for April2011 intake please shed some light on the query I had asked earlier about the placement of april 2010 intake still being shown as 98% only on the website does that mean still 100% placement is yet to be achieved in the APril batch and also on the placement of nov2010 intake ....your inputs are pretty valuable ......

You are not required to enter your age manually on the form. Once you enter your date of birth, the system automatically calculates your age and enters in the respective column.
If your problem still persists, you can send a mail on [email protected]

Mate there is no need to enter the age..just fill the birth details and the age will appear on its own...

there was probs with the browser i guess. when i reentered the dob the age appeared automatically.

Hi!

We normally prefer candidates with a minimum of 2-3 years work experience to apply for our GMBA programm. Exceptions are made only in extraordinary cases such as exceptional academics or aptitude scores etc. for which you need to send your application with all details to the Admissions Committee to be assessed.

I will be completing my application form today. I have not taken up cat or GMAT. When will get the next chance to take up the SP Jain aptitude test? I am based in bangalore and where are the tests conducted?
