Where can i go and check the profile of candidates(work ex,gmat score), placement records...
Most imp what r the chances for an IT guy with 5+ work ex and 640 GMAT

Hi!

The next SPJAt is scheduled for sometime in August. You need to check the announcements on out GMBA site regularly to get the dates.
You can submit your application beforehand. When you appear for the Test you need to mention your application number this will then enable us to map your scores.
You will not be called for Evaluations until your application meets all our criterias which includes having a valid aptitude score.

can u submit ur application without having a score..?? or u must have the SPJAT score before submitting the application..??

Is a person considered for interview only after having got a valid score in SPJAT..?? or u can get a call for interview without a score based on profile and u can later submit the score later..??

log on to: http://www.spjain.org/gmba/snapshot_student_profiles.asp to take a look at a few of our student's profiles
as for your eligibility you will only know once you have applied. You can apply with your present GMAt score . The ADCOM will let you know if you are required to retake the test.

Hi!

Our normal cut off is 75 but the ADCOM will need to take your entire profile into account to give you a decision on your final status.So if you are already an applicant pls check your status online but if you haven't applied pls go ahead and submit your form.

The SPJAT results are out . My score is 76.36 percentile which is less than the 80 percentile required. I have a few questions:

1] Should I apply with the same Percentile...will I have any chance at all ??

Snapshot of my Profile :

10th : 68%
12th: 70%
B.E : 61%

Total Experience : 52 months

41 Months IT - MNC ( 20 months as developer + 21 months in business development & IT consulting)

11 months and continuing - MANAGER - Supply chain at India's largest private sector steel industry.. looking after 7 million tonnes of dispatch per annum.

Certifications: 4 NCFM certifications and few others

Extracurricular : Lots of awards and accolades at school, college ,national level,Event Organizer for national fests in college...chief organizer for an event which made it to the guiness book of world records and so on....

Several awards in professional carrier as well.

Active Association with An NGO for last few years.

2] Should I take the next SPJAT in August and try to improve my score and then apply....???

In the online application form for GMBA..It is mentioned that one has to specify the percentile and date of any previous attempts at SPJAT....In case I take the next SPJAT how do I update my latest score as there is no Inputs for the second attempt ?

Hi.. I just received my SPJAT results .. at 82.68 Percentile..

I had applied with my GMAT score of 610 and was told that the score was way below ur cutoff and my app was put into waitlist..
Now can you comment on my chances of getting an eval call..

Brief description of my application..

3+ yrs with IBM .. Business Analyst/Application Consultant fr a European Telecom Giant..
Strong professional achievements.. Certifications/Audits etc ..

COllege GPA - 7.04/10 from Vellore Institute of Tech
XII - 58.2
X - 70.8

Good extra curriculars and Lots of Community service..

your queries are answered below-

  1. The next SPJAT dates are not yet out. pls keep a track of the announcements on our website cause the same should be announced sometime later this month.
  2. it is difficult to say now whether we would be having test center at kolkatta. you would only know once the dates are announced.
  3. The aptitude test conducted by S P Jain is intended to test a student's IQ, mathematical ability, logic and reasoning capacity, English reading and comprehension ability. There is also a section on general knowledge. These questions are intended to test knowledge of current events and normal business awareness. The paper would be divided into different sections based on these areas. The test is for a duration of 1 hour. The test paper consists of around 40 to 45 questions The format of the test may change from time to time but the testing would be on the mentioned parameters. The aptitude test will be a paper based test. There is negative marking - different questions may have a different scale of negative marking, and this would be taken into account while calculating a student's score. We do not have sectional cut offs, we expect the overall score to meet our cut off.
  4. Our intake is around 250.

I had applied on 31/07/2010. The application status still has the same status :

"Thank you for the interest shown in S P Jain, Dubai-Singapore's GMBA (November 2010 intake) program.
Your status will be updated shortly."

However, the evaluations for all applications received till 16/08/2010 is scheduled on 22/08/2010.


Since I am not a native of mumbai..will need some time to make Travel arrangements if selected for evaluations.
Request you to please expedite the process for the welfare of potential candidates who have to travel to mumbai from remote locations...

2) For the experience, will it be okay if I bring along my joining letter and the printout of my last salary.
3) What is the preferred attire for the evals?

It normally takes around 10 to 15 days to screen an application and so you may have yet not got an update. Pls continue checking, you should hear sometime early next week.
We intend covering applications received received until 16th August for the Evaluations happening on 22nd.

1. we need the documents to be self-attested which means you can do it yourself.You also need to get the originals on that day.

2.joining letter and last salary slip should be fine for now. But we will need the experience letter if you are admitted. You need to present that at the time of enrolment, so you have time to arrange for that.

3. there is no dress code in particular but formals is recommended.

Thanks to the staff of SPJCM for the wonderful Students Interactive session held in various cities...attended the one in Mumbai yest eveng...was very informative and had nearly all my doubts answered....

hope I get in for the Nov 2010 intake....FYI all puys, TENTATIVE date for the next SPJAT was announced as 5th Sept 2010.... just under a month left....study study study .....

hi!

in case your request for deferment is accepted by the management, you will be required to pay your registration fees in advance, this will be in 2 installments of 50% each.
We can defer your admission only to the next immediate intake and not any further, also you will need to adhere the payment deadlines to keep your offer.

No, this rotates for each intake, say for Nov'10, Marketing, Logistics, HR & Consulting students commence their program first in Dubai and IT & Finance students commence in Singapore, then, for April/May'11 it will be vice versa.

Hi!

You will need to submit a formal application to know whether you qualify for the program. As for your GMAT score, your score of 620 is below our requirement. You may be asked to take another aptitude test. If you wish to take the SPJain aptitude test we are doing one on the 5th of September.

The last date to apply for the GMBA program is 15th September.
