Hi!

We are on schedule for the November intake. The first round of Evaluations may be held around the end of July or early August. Shortlisted candidates will be intimated on mail plus their status will beupdated online accordingly.

we have received your mail on gmba and the same is being looked into. since you had entered a wrong email id, the autogenerated acknowledgement may not have come on your email address.

You should receive an ack. soon. you can mail on gmba if you donot get a response by this weekend.

Hi!

The date for our first SPJAt for Nov 2010 will be announced on the website very soon. The test should be around the 2nd half of this month.
Registrations can be made online once the dates are announced. You need to keep checking the announcement section of our GMBA regularly.

I am from India, looking for suitable one year Programme & School for studies.Want to return back to india after MBA.
I am B.tech+PGDBA(Distance Learning)+ 7 Yr of EXp.
CTC 7 Lacs

I have gone thru website & some posts in this blog.

after i have read all the stuff I have following queries:
1. that this programme is suitable for candidates with work ex 2-3 yrs only.
2. ROI is not that aspiring , as one can't reject offer in case company is offering you min. 6 LPA.
3. As per previous post persons getting lower salary post MBA than Pre MBA

I have some more queries, but once i would like get answers for above said.

Hi Arcus,
What is the reason for aspiring to do an MBA ? If you have a clear plan for yourself, you will not need the college's help in securing a job. Your own efforts will pull you through. Do you know exactly what you want to do after an MBA ? If so, you can write to me and I will try to help you in areas you want to know about.
That said, SPJCM is a good place for people from a background such as yours. I would not recommend it for people who have more than 5 years experience who are relying on the college for placements.

sorry I think I missed out on replying to your post earlier.As for your query on salaries post the GMBA, firstly it is better to consider the average salary of the entire cohort which is Rs 13 lakhs as many of the better students accept jobs outside India. Also, consider that the average pre-program salary is just Rs 4 lakhs.

The Deans are choosing to leave the institute for various personal reasons. The new dean John Davis is quite exceptional having authored 5 books and having received many teaching accolades at Singapore Management University.



I have an exp of 3 years and current salary of 9 lakhs working in data center of a company.
have a cat score of 92 %ile. would it make sense to apply for the IT management at sp jain considering the high fees and ROI.

The placements report states the avg salary in India for the graduating batch just about 9 lakhs with having students to place even after 2 months of graduating... isisn't that on a lower side for a college with avg work ex of 3-4 yrs?

Also was wondering why are the deans are being changed every couple of years.

Hi!

Out minimum work exp requirement is 3 years and the average of our batch is about 5 years work exp.

As for your query on the placement process, firstly as a rule the student will know the salary,role and location (country) of the position he is applying for.
In some cases the company does not disclose some of the above details. If any of the above ( in your case, salary) does not meet the student's expectation, the offer can be rejected and the student can look for other options.
I hope I have cleared your doubts now.
