Hi,

any update on the plcmnts for April batch passing out like specifically.....

a)how many placed so far and what is total strength of the batch..
b) Are the placemnts for the Arpil batch over? if the placements still continuing..then till when the process is expected to close.??
c)Till when r the student going to stay in the campus.... as the new batch has already joined the hostels...

thoug h i expect market to be better in another 1 to 1.5 years so it should be much better by that time...

but i would like to know what is the current scenario also...

My Name is Ravi Kumar, new to this forum. I was in search of some questions related to MBA at SP Jain Singapore.

This is specifally for Shweta Chhabra, I have around 6 years of Experience in IT Recruitment Industry and am looking forward to do my MBA in Singapore. Got to know from one of my friends that there would be a fresh intake in August/September at SP Jain.

Hi,

yes, the next intake for the GMBA is Nov 2010 - admissions for this should open around first week May 2010.

If you are based in Singapore - you are also eligible to apply for the EMBA which is a 2 year part time program only at our Singapore campus

You ca
n take the GMAT anytime by August 2010. But it is preferable to take it ASAP as not having a GMAT score that meets our requirements will render your application incomplete and you cannot be shortlisted for evaluations

The GMAT cut off is 650

Yes, sorry I have been travelling and just not been able to reply promptly - promise to be prompt now on

AS of now not aware of any changes - our website should be updated with details and we shall start acceptng applications for the Nov 2010 intake by firstweek May 2010

Hi Shweta,

I have deffered admission for Nov-2010 batch. In the application I have selected the "placements required " option. However my current company giving me an option to go on study leave . If I get selected in any of the companies after completion of course , I can resign from current compay and the notice period can be taken care by payment of my current basic salary. I am ok with this option of the company however I wanted to know if it is ok to go for this option with respect to institute's placement services policies or hiring company policies , if there any.

I had a few queries
1.As of now I am having an work ex of almost 2 yrs. Is it ok for the Nov intake? I am having decent acads (X-85% XII- 85% B.E(Computers) -64% ) and very good extra curriculars (loads of certificates and trophies)

2.I am yet to take GMAT but planning to take it by this July. Will I be late for the admission process for Nov intake.

3.Is there any kind of a preference for the people who apply early?

I would be applying for the GHRM course and would be taking a loan for that oo. Since the amount is huge, I wanted to know a little more on the placements in GHRM than what is mentioned on the website. Please help.

I would like to know whether CAT 2008 score will be taken for November 2010 admissions. If so, is there any special advantage given/for CAT 2009/GMAT 2010 students?

I hope all will be treated equally by using some normalization method?

I have 2.8 yrs of work ex with.Acads -10th 62.8, 12th 70, B.Tech 60.4
