I initiated a wire transfer of 2500 USD on the 10th of March and intend to defer my admission to November. Do I have to enclose any kind of receipt alongwith the cover letter that is to be sent to Kalbadevi?

Hi,
My name is Abhushan and i had given the CAT this year and I was a little late in applying for SP Jain Dubai, as the date for april intake is gone, do i have another chance to try @Sp jain in this Year?

My CAT score was good 97.27 and my acads are decent, but the worrying point is that i just have a work ex of 19 months in the IT sector.

Thanks for sending me the Deferment Terms and Condition details. I accepted all the terms and conditions and the cover letter with a copy of acknowledgement receipt of initial deposit should reach the India Liaison office today. I just wanted to know what are next steps? Will I be getting offer letter for Nov Intake. If so, when can I expect that?

I am Vrisha and have 4.3 yrs of work exp( 2 yrs @ management position). I have Specialised in Insurance Contract wording. Professional degree in Insurance from CII, London. My grades have been 75% SSC, 74%- HSC - Commerce and 70% BCOM. I plan to join SP Jain (GMBA) for their Nov 2010 intake. My GMAT scores were nt good- 550. But will study again and apply. I have excellent letters of recommendations and refree report, considering my profile and what is a good GMAT score required to get a call. Also the website does not provide details pertaining to the Nov intake deadline, can some one help or post the link ?

I have a question, which all the applicants to GMBA programs would like to ask. I have heard directly from the current/past GMBA students that placements in the last couple of batches have not been good. That is understandable in the wake of unprecedented economic slump. But now when whole India is hiring, placements are still not going well for April 2009 batch ( passing out in march 2010 ). I hope you understand the concern of any person who leaves his/her secured job and spends near Rs 20L to join B-School and leaves without a job. Your comments on the slow placements and future expectation please???

My question -
Just wanted to know if there are any interview locations for Indian applicants currently working in the United States? do US based applicants have to travel to either of these 3 locations for an interview if they are shortlisted?

Hi,

Well to clarify - the placements were not upto expectations only for the May 08 batch ( which graduated in May 09) where 85% of the batch was placed inspite of the economic slowdown. The Dec 08 batch (which graduated in Dec 09) had a good placement record with 95% of the batch being placed with an avg salary of INR 13 lakhs.

For the April 09 batch ( graduating in April 10) the palcements are ongoing and we should meet expectations of students. We shall shortly be updating our website with the details.

Hence I'm not sure of the source of your information but it would be best you trusted the information that comes officially from our institute

I completed by graduation in year 2008..i do have all the mark sheet and provisional certificate but don't have original as not been issued by University till yet...Will provisional certificate will accomplish the educational requirement??
