When does the admission process for April 2010 intake start ? Also when is the first admission test for that intake and what would be the cutoff for the same.. Previously i had applied and had gotten a reject on grounds of lower work ex.. A brief description of my profile is .. Xth - 71% XIIth - 59% B.Tech - 71% in Computer Science from A reputed private institution..
Work Experience : 2 Years 7 Months (Till April 2010) with IBM India in Telecom Domain .. Decent cocurriculars.. Will be taking CAT and SP Jain aptitude test..
Hi Shweta, I had applied for the GMBA Nov'09 admissions on the 23rd of september'09 and had also taken the spjat on the 26th of september'09. My application number is 41539-IT. Till yesterday the status against my application stated "thank you for showing interest in SP Jain, Your status will be updated shortly". But now the link to the application itself has been removed. Can u plz let me know the status of the same. Whether it has been deferred/wait listed/rejected. Please let me know at your earliest. Thanks Neelanjana
All students have now been evaluated and admissions are now closed for the Nov 09 intake. You did take the test on the 26th of Sept but your score did not meet our requirements.
You may apply afresh for the April 2010 intake when we open admissions for the same. You would also need to retake the aptitude test or take the GMAT/CAT inorder to acheive a score that meets our cut off

So around when would SPJAT be held???
And can i know what my chances are: Work Ex. 2.5 yrs in IT (obtained appreciation certificates for work done) UG: BTech(76%) from NIT, Calicut XII: 89% (Indian High School, DUbai)
I intend to apply for MBA in IT, April 2010 intake at Dubai campus.
The SPJAT dates have not yet been fixed and should be held soemtime in Dec 09. Pls check our website around that time for updates reg the test

The details given on the website are all we have to share with students and cannot privde you with any more statistics as of now. We will keep your suggestions in mind and try to provide these details for furture intakes

Thanks for the response to chattu. My requirements are very similar to his (i.e. looking for best One year Executive program in India).
The information provided on website is just not enough to evaluate the probability of success after joining SPJ. The location of job and the nature of companies do make a lot of difference to understand the success of SPJ candidates. The figures in INR are very impressive, but few jobs in USDs and the figures can get skewed.
I acknowledge SPJ brand name, success stories of individual candidates, have no doubts about the infrastructure and teaching facilities, but the placement information on websites is just not enough for me to believe that the SPJ one year program has a fantastic placement record as well.
I understand SPJ policies of disclosing limited placement records, but am hoping that you will help me gain confidence in SPJ placements.
Today while creating a new login and password for the april 2010 intake I saw that my previous application still exists . Do need to create a new application or will the old one suffice ?
Another thing which I wanted to ask is about the IELTS requirement ! It was not there the last time right ? Is it required when english was the primary medium of instruction during graduation ?
IELTS offers two types of tests Academic and general ? Which one should we register for ? The information on the GMBA admissions page does not mention this !
